So it’s Been 10 Years since the last MOT, I felt a massive sense of achievement when the guy said it passed! Now It’s the slow process of tuning the transmission. Let me know what you next want to see 🤗
Getting my Piaggio zip ready for MOT [carb replacement]
มุมมอง 1.3Kปีที่แล้ว
Getting my Piaggio zip ready for MOT, I’ve had to change the carb for a new/better one and it worked a treat. Hopefully my wheels will be ready from the power coating so it can go through its first MOT in nearly 10 years!

Adjusting a clutch on YX160 PIT BIKE| will it run again?
I just heated up the cases and it just slid in
What is slipping the clutch?
Iv got the exact same epic bike, great vids bud, what phone holder do you use?
nice job man, im gonna use this video for when i need to fix it
Use dry ice it's easier
Why do u put it in the freezer
So it doesn’t rust
How did you get the seat to sit up that tall? Did you install new rear spring ?
Tie rods
Where did you get the plate bracket from?
Bike sounds brilliant mate ...roll on spring!. I've got the same model tbh .....keep toying with the idea of moving on to something more up to date ,but they're just so much fun and a bargain to buy ,cheapish to run ....and no debt !. What exhaust can you got fitted mate ?.
@05:05 that, "ooh there's something there" is actually sealant applied across the crankcase join.... leave as is, or if you do take it off then reapply with something similar.
Hey bro, how the hell do I get my front wheel off? Calliper stopping it from popping out
Great video, mate. Seems like it's a fairly straight forward job. I've just got a 650 Bandit and I'm finding that sometimes the clutch is slipping at high revs under hard acceleration. Is that what you were getting too?
Yeah exactly the same but I’ve also found out under the chain/ side casing there is a clutch retention spring that will sit the clutch back in so if that’s snapped (like mine is) it can also add to the problem. They are only a couple of quid so worth a try
@@georgeradley1299 Interesting, thanks mate I'll check that out.
Good luck! It’s so easy can’t go wrong mate 😊
Hi did you have to file down the top the end of throttle cable?
Hey great video. I'm currently doing much the same to my zip..I noticed the rear shock mount and wondered whats going on there? I see you are able to use a totally different shock, would you mind telling me what shock you are using and how you mounted it please...? Regards
Hi Pete, thank you 😊 so it’s a standard shock with a 75mm raiser. Just jacks it up more but to get it fitted you have to turn the shock 90 degrees. Hope this helps
@George Radley tanks bud..keep the vids coming..Nice to see another 'pedder'' like myself..I'm sure I'll upload some of mine soon.👌👍
Cheers mate I don’t ever feel comfortable doing it but really appreciate it when someone else enjoys it 😊
Really good video
well done👍good job
Thank you, it was my first time at a full engine rebuild so was very nervous to see if it started 😬
did u fix this ?
I’m wondering as well going to the same issue
People who went straight to the comments 😅
I can only assume you don’t know 😂
do not talk to the camera. vanity
only a few bikes are looking good the rest of them for the trash
So what bikes are you considered looking good?
Looks like the dent that’s next to the shit is the bigger problem
Battle scar from the previous owner 😅 end of the day it’s a 25 year old bike and probably a first bike for quite a few of the owners 😒
Thanks for sharing man
