Scrolling through YT and found your review. Good job! This, like many was one of my first intros in anime along with Lupin, Gatchaman, and the og DB. And as you can see this title was waay different from the usual fare; with the plot, story and horror elements. I remember being hooked by the story and pacing as well. The only thing I differ on from your review is the ending with the main villain. The main plot element from the very beginning was the life of the Wu was directly linked to the master. That’s why Benaris was trying to make the deal with Pai so he could double cross the main bad and become the new boss of everything. So when Pai attacked the alter and destroyed the defenseless “master” it equated to an immediate one shot of his Wu, with no healing or restoration possible. It might not be the ending everyone wanted, but it wasn’t out of context to the story.

The only negative thing was they didn't do a PC port for this game like they did for the first one. Making exposure to this game and availability very limited after the PS2's lifespan ended.

BLUE SEED is celebrating its 30th anniversary. After watching the first episode, with Izumo, miko, and Kushinada, I understood that this is based on the story of the extermination of the eight-forked serpent in Japanese mythology. I missed it, I watched it in real time back then. It was the year before Evangelion. For Yuzo Takada's works, “3×3 EYES” and “BLUE SEED” are especially masterpieces.

Saw this back in the day on Sunday morning anime that the Science Fiction Channel played... they used to show alot of shows back then, (Iria, Ghost in the Shell, Tank Police...)

The manga was restricted on alot of scanalator sites, making it a rare show I always wanted to check out.

Game that is expensive but sucks is worse than a cheap game that is long and hard. Because when I think of expensive games I think about the time n money that went into it. N a complete game that rarely have bugs n glitches

Yo I watched this when it was on tv back in the day 😂 then I watched the whole thing after getting an advertisement for it on a dbz vhs- ah the times have flown 😅

it sucks that the actors are REALLY doing the best they can, mostly cuz the lines they have to read and deliver are pretty cringy, especially the incest shit

This game is amazing! I remember seeing a review of it on xplay when it came out, and they showed clips from the first black and white level (before you regain eyes), and i knew i had to get it. It was released as a "budget" title, since it came out so close to the end of the ps2 era, so you could pick up a brand new copy for $20. This has since become one of my favorite ps2 games of all time. My first copy got stolen, so I bought another copy for $20, which I still own, and play from time to time, complete with a case and booklet/manual. Severely overlooked title. Have you ever played "Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman" on the ps1?

I couldn't get into this series because of the unfunny Rito torture (I find it too cruel and uncomfortable to watch (I never found it funny to begin with, I feel sorry for him being unfairly abused)), my heart just can't take it well), I dropped permanently after watching the 2nd episode of the first season since 2021.

6:30 ya man the torture scenes with the maggots was brutal. Then they show the teeth nerve torcher. Have one instrument that's just a metal screw but razor thin. When you looked at that torture setup it just told a whole story of horror without showing it. This is like better than any torture scene in real life. In Raiden being turned into a cyborg oh that was so cool.

I watched Angel Cop over and over from middle school up to high school, I graduated in 2000. Last of the non-woke generation. Woke wasn't even a concept. Only kid in my high school that had a Sport Bike. CBR 600cc. Never had a wreck that was my fault, always hit and runs.

It came out after La Femme Nikita (1990), but it did great in exposing mk ultra trama bonding between handler & subject. It's an adult anime, not hentai in my opinion
