Hi Anne, thanks for your comment. Glad you have enjoyed the videos. The easiest way is to just ask the manager of the restaurant, he will point you to the correct tree. But let me try explain, at the restaurant, if you go to the end of the deck where the stairs go down onto the grass, he usually sits in the tree to the right above you. He takes some finding, he has great camouflage.

Possibly yes, he was definitely looking for his family. In episode 6 we meet him again, and he has friends. I still haven’t seen Casper though. Hope to see him one day soon.

You have to get very lucky to see leopard, and spend many hours looking, especially first thing in the morning or late in the evening. Keep looking out for future episodes, there are a number of leopards to come.

@beunkvideo4072, I know right? An awesome sighting. We are lucky enough to have seen a similar sighting in our next sighting, just with an Impala. Regarding the microphone, I actually have one, I have just struggled with how much bigger it makes the camera and how it makes it more difficult to handle, thanks for the suggestion, I will try to use it again.

Hi Trevor Thanks for the comment. I also found it very difficult to find information on how capable the Xtrail is, and am also pleasantly surprised about how good it handles. The model I have is the 2021 1.6 Diesel Manual Tekna and I have not modified the vehicle at all, even the tyres are the standard tyres that come with the car. The vehicle handles very well, just don't stop on a flat in thick sand, and you are all good. I didn't feel like I needed low range 4x4, but the approach and departure angles are a bit of a problem, you really have to be careful not to hit dunes that are too steep (have a big approach or departure angle). I really enjoyed my 2 trips to the Atlantis Dunes and as mentioned was very happy with the way it handled, as always, go with someone that has a very capable vehicle to help you if you get stuck (Like i did when i stopped on a flat in soft sand). @@life_of_lotz thanks for the reply. thats good to hear that your x-trail is standard as it gives me a good idea of what it can handle on soft sand. We're not looking at doing much soft sand driving but its good to know whats possible before faced with making a decision to drive on sand or not. We've done some acsents and descents over rocky terrain using 4x4 lock and it performed well. The ground clearance is not great and teh front bumper is a bit low but thats ok for the driving that we are willing to do. We're planning a trip at the end of teh year and hving an idea of what terrain it is capable of driving over is great as we dont want to miss out on any potential sightseeing opportunities.
