Kitty has seen something outside and wants to hunt, or Kitty wants to use the litterbox and thinks there's a poop in there I've missed. This is why my non hungry cat gets out the claws or teeth, boredom, or about to poop.

One of my cats growing up had some extra skin on her belly from being overweight before we got her and it was never an issue for her. It just meant her belly would hang a bit. I thought it looks so cute

I think you're misunderstanding something here. The cats were already fat when they adopted them The reason there is excess skin is BECAUSE they did their jobs. Excess skin is the result of weight loss
I jiggle my formerly fatcat's puddlemof excess skin. Renoving it wouldn't be worth the risks for us. Then i couldn't squish her puddles!!
How did u do that? How long did it take? I have the same breed and she’s also overweight I started her on diet food from the vet but it’s been a few months with no progress
Do you free feed?
You may need to feed her less. Is she an indoor cat or does she go outside? She may be eating food from neighbours or hunting a lot so needs a lot less food at home. If she's an indoor cat, does she run around or play much? She might need more exercise. You could try feeding her by getting her to walk a short distance for a few pieces of food and repeat until she's ate her meal

@@nasreen7043 it was really hard at first now I can’t wait till the fosters get adopted 😂 everytime they do it opens up a space for another cat ❤️ I get to be a crazy cat lady without owning a pile of cats haha
