That is a great question. I know there is a bit of a trick to it. I'll have to play around with it a little and I'll make a new video for it. In the meantime, I do know that you can reverse-feed it through through the nib/nose cone. But I also know we can do better than that. I'll get back to you.

@twodesksproductions I appreciate your speedy response. I tried the bottom feed, to no avail. I was surprised to find no video on this since it's so different from other mechanical pencils. My pencil is a I tried what one TH-cam video (lady with short hair) recommends with no success. Part of me wonders if my pencil lead is jammed, so maybe that is a topic you could address in your video. Lastly, I reached out to Cross. Mainly because some TH-cam replies can take months. Again, I thank you for your willingness to help.

I just spent some time with this pencil and I can't figure it out. This is a unique pencil that screws all the way out and then can't turn any more. I thought that maybe if you screw the other way all the way that it might open up a mechanism that allows a new lead to feed into the pencil, but I haven't gotten that to work. If you get a response from Cross or otherwise figure it out, I would love to know how to do it, but at the moment, I'm flat out stumped.

@@twodesksproductions Wow!! I surprised that you are stumped too. I see that Cross has a TH-cam channel and I'm not sure why they don't have videos there. When / If I hear from Cross, I'll let you know what they say.

Hi Infensus! We've generally swapped out all of our lead for 2B. But out-of-the-box, the SharpWriter comes with HB lead.

This one was a HB in 0.7mm

Those have been one of my favorites for years.
