I got the Varis arising fenders for the 15-17 bumper with the same air blades like yours.
I hope that’s not actually how you train. No time under tension and not using full ranges of motion just bouncing. It was hard to see how much of a full extension was possible with the equipment and Can’t tell if full ROM is possible
@@andresmaldonado7356 yeah, was just a quick video, but overall, with band tension applied at the leg lever, you are able to use a fairly full ROM in flexion beyond the 90 degree mark. Band tension will also allow for greater TUT, with slow concentric/eccentric movements.
@ does this seat have the ability to tilt or rótate by chance similar to Titan fitness machine so that you can get deep stretch at the Lowest ROM of the leg extension ? Does that pad go flat straight up and down for standing hamstring curls?
@@andresmaldonado7356 yes on both accounts. The seat inclines to 90 degrees (vertical) for standing leg curls, and declines roughly 30 degrees.
Nice' what strength band are you using there? Like the how much lb resistence? Just picked up the gear for fit free standing one and think a band would make it better
I’m currently using a set of bands from a brand called Tribe (found on Amazon). I’m using the medium band, but not sure of actual amount of resistance
Where is the link?
Weird shape! It seems to me that you will only be able to do swings, deadlifts and a couple of other exercises with it.
I would guess front swings but not side swings. I'd be afraid of taking out one of my knees.
Yeah, great for swings/pulls, but you have to be highly aware of your surroundings/wouldn’t want to hit your knees
@@halveyehelptu1072Thanks for the video. Now I know I would rather have designated compact kettlebells.
yo how are you liking the eisenlink adjustable dumbbells? I just got those in for black friday on such a good deal. And I love my seal row pad from bells of steel too! Will be even better once I get their cable tower!
@@billmoran4866 the Eisenlink dumbbells have been great. The longer screws (purchased separately) make them very functional. For the price can’t beat them.
Awesome demo of the Hydra Seal Row Pad! Super helpful for anyone looking to upgrade their setup. Thanks for sharing your experience! 😊 We hope it serves you long and well 💪😎
Does the tank drop down when skid plate is removed?
@@brettzeman9531 yeah, the skid plate is the only thing holding the tank in place
@halveyehelptu1072 what was all connected to the tank? Or did you try to keep the tank in place and sneak the new shield in the way so you didn't have to disconnect anything else?
@@brettzeman9531 I actually had a jack stand holding it up while I dropped the rusted out portion, then I used ratcheting straps to hold in place while I lifted the new skid plate into place. I’m sure there are multiple sensors that need to be unplugged if you need to drop the tank as well.
Do you still have the airaid tube ?
Which performed better ?
The Volant CAI definitely sounds better, and the IATs are significantly lower (went from around 12 degrees above ambient temperature to around 7-8 degrees above ambient temperature while driving interstate). I still have the AirRaid, keeping it on hand just in case this setup fails for some reason
@halveyehelptu1072 nice man , i was going to suggest selling it to me. But i see you are keeping it.
Hey man, thanks for the video. I just got this attachment but really hate how much it moves during leg curls, its just off putting. What type of material are the shims made out of and how thick are they? thanks in advance
No problem. The shims I’m using are composite material, 1/4 inch at the thickest. I’m using one shim on each side. I’m actually putting a thin piece of shim material (about 1-2 inch long) in the tunnel for the leg attachment to keep it steady as well.
@@halveyehelptu1072 thanks brother! Will give it a go
Wow, talk about luck finding something so specific to my car. Really looking at this as just short term storage while Im at work or running into a store that doesn't allow carry etc. My only problem with this mounting solution is that it just advertises that you have a firearm inside.
@@MrMcbear Yeah, darker tinted windows would be ideal to keep people from seeing the device. Truthfully, I would need to have my eyes glued to the side window to see it in my vehicle, but the tint is a little darker.
Great video! Any chancd you could measure the depth of the attachment from where its attached to the rack to the wall? I have the slim wall mounted rogue rack and neee to see if it will fit. Thanks!
No problem. The distance from the front of the post to the back of the seat in the down position is approximately 22.5 inches. In the up position the distance from the front of the post to the back of the seat is 9 inches
@@halveyehelptu1072 awesome thank you!
I’m not sure why you put the vent in the lower grill and used all the extra tubing. You could have used the point where previous models had fog lights. Air flows through those, they can also be trimmed for better airflow, or you can get replacements on eBay that are fully open instead of a little square. Then you would have a very short tube from there to the redline. All in all it’s a cool concept but it’s really not necessary that intake even with the block off plate on will support 600 whp.
@@lucian7182 I get where your coming from. I actually looked at a set of fog light deletes that had a vent, but the vents were small (about half the size of the vents I used) and there wasn’t really a way to direct airflow as well. I actually have solid fog light deletes currently, so there was no real air flow entering from that site. More or less, I’m just MacGyver’ing it and learning more about the vehicle.
Got it that makes a lot of sense.
A further UPDATE: The actual hose was rated as follows…This ducting is made from Silicone coated glass fiber fabric Smooth interior, highly flexible, Ultraviolet resistance, corrosion resistance, wear and durable. High Performance ratings with excellent reliability in all conditions. Working temperature: -94 Deg F to 572 Deg F So, I probably won’t worry about shielding the tubing
Just an UPDATE: I added pinch weld blocks under the front duct to create a pressure fit. Actually fit perfectly, using 3 of the 3 inch long blocks
Super glad to hear that our machine is serving you well! 💪💪
So no one is ever gonna sit there?
I actually posted an updated video where I moved the unit to sit closer to the center console for easier accessibility, and to allow that seat position to still be accessible.
I don’t see how this can fix it, it is not even holding the brake light down you just zip tied nothing.
The main problem isn’t the actual brake light, but the housing it sits in. This is the part it corrects/made a world of difference
Just openly avail like this the button needs to be biometric
I actually did purchase their biometric version of the button, but truthfully I disable the button about 99% of the time (I only keep the button active when driving in a less safe area, for quicker access)
Great option for anyone who doesn’t mind eliminating 25% of the passenger space in their car 😅
I actually changed the mounting position closer to the center console to allow for a passenger to still sit in the back seat. There is another video on the channel that shows the updated position for mounting.
That's a sick jump
Can some homeless person w a 5$ harbor freight adjustable wrench steal that safe?
It would be difficult due to the way I installed it, but anything is possible. If they were able to remove the base from the seat rail, they would then need to cut the cable and lock that is attached to the rail, which again with the right tools anything is possible. This shouldn’t be seen as a long term storage solution though. It should be seen as short term storage when unable to carry, such as on government property/USPS, etc.
Ty so much for this! I have a 2019 WRX and was trying to find options other than under the seat lock boxes. I like the Vaultek Slider Safe but didn't like the strap + cable solution they have.
No problem. This solution for mounting has worked exceedingly well. Very minimal reverberation as compared to the setup in my Grand Cherokee.
I have wrx sti 2018 EU and these holes are no more here 😞...
how did you mount it to the floor? what type of mount did you use?
I used a Vaultek Car Rail Mount
@@halveyehelptu1072how secure does it feel? Seemed like it moved quite a bit just from opening. Thinking of putting one of these in my ram 2500 on the passenger side in the front but I'm not totally sold on it yet as the mounts seem a little flimsy.
@@LîNkxUSMC overall it’s fairly sturdy, but it really depends on the mounting surface. Mounting directly to the floor at the seat mounting location is your best bet. I had to use a round about way of mounting off of the floor mounting position, using steel bar stock. Also, the video above was my first attempt attaching directly to the seat rail which didn’t work well. There is a second video showing the end mounting location which was closer to the center console/mounted off the seat mount on the floor. That video shows a better representation of how stable it is. th-cam.com/video/0vwgp0nRKKk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=v-1J_WLsLxOBK-PL
Great job on your video. I have a similar set-up in my Land Cruiser. I found that adding stiffener bars from Greyman Tactical helped to stabilize the RMP panel. Also a small piece of foam in the drawer at the top eliminates the rattle and doesn't interfere with the function.
Thanks. Yeah, this set up is fantastic and very stable. I didn’t realize that Greyman Tactical actually made backer plates specific to the Vaultek safe. Luckily, the backer plates I used worked well for my set up. I actually installed this same Vaultek safe in my Grand Cherokee, using the passenger seat rail, which works well, but is definitely more noisy, and limits how far you can move the seat back…I may use a larger Greyman Tactical RMP in my Grand Cherokee in the future.
Man I think I just commented on another one of your videos haha You're doing gods work here. I've got a small 2018 Honda Civic. I'm wondering how I'll have to jerry rig somethin' to mount this thing up properly. You're giving me hope. I just do not trust that "universal strap" nonsense they advertise.
Yeah, I tried the universal strap and it wasn’t very stable. I think this type of mount, using the seat rail attachment point is about the best option. Best of luck.
@@halveyehelptu1072 Appreciate it. You're bracket method intrigues me greatly. We'll see how it goes this Christmas. Do you just store that particular firearm in your car then? That's what I plan on doing, but wasn't sure if people regarded overnight vehicle storage with suspicion.
@@r.t.hannah9575 In general I would recommend against overnight storage unless you have an enclosed/locked/connected garage. I have a connected/locked garage, so I do store mine overnight
Looking to get one of these. You’re like one of the few people I’ve see. Post videos of it mounted. Thanks
I got all excited thinking you had figured out how to mount it under the steering wheel or something...
Unfortunately, I don’t think there would be enough room. I ended up moving the safe closer to the center console, so that it slides open right behind the console (just turn around and grab weapon). Mounted it to the passenger side seat rail.
@@halveyehelptu1072 I've been experimenting with under the seat, but it's just not very comfortable to grab it at that angle. Another possibility is right in front of the seat to where the back of your knees are resting on the safe. Not very comfortable though and maybe not enough room for the door to deploy fully since I have the full center console. Might work for a straight bench type seat.
Great work mate. I recommend using PromoSM.! ! Lots of people are using it to help grow their channel!!
I had this one with their rear seat mount and it was an annoying, rattling mess. I quickly uninstalled it.
i guess it's kinda off topic but does anyone know of a good place to watch newly released movies online ?
@Mauricio Alfonso Thanks, signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I really appreciate it!!
@Tyler Caden Glad I could help :)
Yeah, it rattled a bit in the beginning, but I used some felt padding at integral locations/points of contact, which helped
Their informercial shows that the mounting plate can be put on either side of the safe, so you don't have the nuts exposed to the passengers knees
Yeah, you can definitely invert the mounting plate, but for positioning in this vehicle, this plate position worked best
This sure looks better then some of the other videos people made bashing this holster.
what do you do if someone has ahold of your other hand?? this seems like a bad idea comfort over safety ....
how is it with the extended 7 round magazine?
Actually, after you break it in, there is minimal printing. I'm using a SigP938 which is fantastic for this set-up. Printing in this deep conceal carry format is definitely dependant on the single vs double stack magazine. Both will work, but the single stack will definitely show the least print.
+Halveye Helptu Looks like the Urban Carry is working well for you!
It looks like it's working great, what's your opinion on it?? Does it print much when you're actually going around and getting day to day things done??
Yeah, this is an excellent setup. If you go to Al Welke's website, azwelke.com, you can find his pricing. Definitely worth the money.
Cool that's exactly what I'm looking for for my busse team gemini light brigade. How much did it cost?
