Question when you collect this kind of foliage do you spay it with some kind of natural safe bug spay so that you don’t bring anything onto your table or even an event if you choose to use this kind of natural decoration?
Hey lovely. It’s a good question. Personally i give a gentle shake to get rid of any particular large creepy crawlies, and as I create I try and pick any others off. I never spray or anything like that - but try and embrace the outdoors. We had a beautiful caterpillar join us on this arrangement! 🤍

will the water damage the stems at all?
Hi lovely. Not for these stems. Some stems that are paper lined etc are obviously not advised to go into water but the ones I’ve chosen in this arrangement are water safe. One tip - you could add some nail varnish or super glue at the end of the cut stems to protect the wire from rust 🤍
Claim to be green but can sprout a tree every thing in unboxed now 😂😂😂

Mildly tempted to try this, did just buy a pot of non standard hyacinths, ie they're normally supposed to standardly grow 1 or 2 flowering stems, but mine might grow 5+, no idea how it got past screening. But I don't have any jars in similar sizing.
Not a single one of my indoor paperwhites bloomed this year 😢
