People will hate me for saying this but this position isn't even that hard and hikaru thought way too hard. It starts with 1. e4 e5 2. Nc3 Nf6 3. f4 d6 (vienna gambit declined) 4. Nf3 putting pressure on the e5 pawn so black responds Nc6. After Bb5 you are threatening to take the pawn, but if black responds Bd7 then taking the knight and trying to win a pawn obviously doesn't work because the e4 pawn would be hanging. So all you have to do there, is play d3 to defend you e4 pawn and then winning a pawn actually becomes a threat. I have played the vienna for all my life, so yes I can definentaly say that I might have a better understanding of this position than hikaru. Also, please don't think of this as me saying I am better than him. Because HAIL NO I AINT. Just maybe in this position ;)
