Is your front axle rated for the additional weight of the plow ? Run the wing plow. It saves time. The driver will learn and it’s not like he has to use it but in a jam you have it. One of my state contracted trucks has double wings front mounted, now they take time getting used to. The MACK handles it like a champ. May put doubles on the new Western Star but that Truck won’t be built until next year.

hi there. if it were me then i would choose number 2 (the camera is inside the cabin in the back facing forward) when it is small narrow ways and then switch that whit the salt spreader so you can see how the spreader works on narrow/large ways and the spreader gives more "action" also. but that is me :)

Nice job by your crew ! Workmanship is top tier on their part. If there is any way to gusset any weak points on the frame setup , that will really help extend the life of this plow setup. I'm surprised with those narrow streets that the city doesn't have Even and odd parking in the winter so all cars on 1 side of the street. As far as camera view 1 even 2. 4 isn't entertaining. The nuisance snow as I like to call it that You was dealing with was like first snow my area had this winter

When working on plows Please use jackstands or something to support the blade when it’s held up in the air. Can never trust a hydraulic system whether it’s brand new or used. Be safe man!

Thanks for the content. I've been watching for a bit. I did contract DOT snow plowing for years. It's nice to see how others are doing things and maybe learn something new. Those shoe kits are blade savers in a huge way, and they wear with the blade. Be sure you shim them tight under the lock pin top so they don't drop into a structure ring or a Crack. Anything buyers in the snow plow? Category is strictly a price point. They wanna meet a certain customer with. They don't build the best.They build the best for the price. I would never. Buy a buyer snowplow.

I've never seen wall framing done this way. Why was the sill plate not nailed to the studs, stood up with the rest, and then nailed to the floor?
