My Demo Reel 1 (working copy - Unlisted & Unpublished)
มุมมอง 5010 ปีที่แล้ว
My first demo reel, just a working copy to get some feedback, etc. Please let me know what you like/don't like, what could be changed, etc. Do you think I should add more text for each chunk of music? It is too long or too short? Are the pictures I'm using acceptable? Thank you all very much!

So I was watching the AMC's The Walking Dead (great show if you enjoy horror), and I decided to try to come up with my own theme music.

I was lucky enough to have a wonderful "second" family while I was growing up. The Paynes are some of the most amazing, loving people anyone could every know. Patricia Payne is battling Parkinson's Disease, but in her youth was a ballet dancer. I wrote this piece for you Mrs. Payne. Thank you so much for making me welcome in your family. I love them all like they were my own brothers and sister.
Paul D.S. DiGiorgio - The River's Edge

Sitting by the bank of a river, listening to the sounds of the water moving endlessly, gave me a strong feeling of tranquility. I was looking to capture that quality of movement with this A-flat piece.
Paul D.S. DiGiorgio - A Young Boy's Dream

This short piece in D Major came to mind as I watch the young son of a dear friend playing. He was so happy and care free, it was wonderful. I feel that this piece captured some of his pure joy.
Already understand the basics you demonstrate here, basically it's what appears in the manual. Would appreciate seeing how this works with a real project. Multiple audio tracks, Midi Tracks, etc. Also what to do if some of the tracks consist of disjoint clips, and maybe don't start at time zero.
I have been recording for yearsssss I wish I had known this before, timing my midi sequences was really hard... thank you man!!!! you saved my day and more :D
GREAT TUTORIAL! MANY THANKS
It was also my first shot at creating this kind of video for music. I wrote the music in Ableton Live 9, using Addictive Keys for the piano. I made the video with Adobe After Effects.
Very good and exactly what I was looking for. One question: why did you 'bounce to clip on the second run through, but not the first time. Isn't selecting the tempo track enough? Thanks.
So f is track manager short cut........but then f is fit to window short cut?????????????otherwise very helpful
It gives a futuristic feel, like cyberpunk almost. "New style just in!" or "The glamor is with you when you wear blah!" I don't know if you already made the movie, but I feel like the repetition of the piece allows for narration, that this could be good background music. It ends a little abruptly, but otherwise I dig!
Way better. excellent
Sounds a little dark, but a little up beat. Like somethings about to happen :)
