China Hat area? Love going over the rim from East Lake in the Newberry crater over into that space. Only place in Oregon I've ever seen a live black bear as it ran away from me~ Fresh tracks in new snow around 4-6" deep it looked, pretty stuff. We need all the snow we can get in the mountains and east across the plateau past Burns to Vale and Ontario too~ Thx for sharing!

Great video Mike and well put together it was nice to see the other side of you, we all have a story dont we. One of my best friends from High School Jim served two tours one in the Gulf war and one in the Iraq during September 11th and when he got back he had hours of footage that we both sat down and watched on my PC and after two hours we had only got through half of it. Watching all those videos really opened my eyes to allot of things about the world and people. The connection he developed with the guys he served with was amazing, I guess it would have to be when your life depends on it. All I can say is I've never seen anything like what he showed me and I'll never forget it either. Thanks for your service may God Bless you greatly my friend.👍🏼
