Squires and Vindicators are definitely an A-tier. The former are great for defense, your crossbowmen become almost bulletproof. And the bash proc also helps immensely. The latter are great damage dealers with Laszlo and also nearly unkillable. You need to get a better understanding of the game, because you haven't even fully discussed the abilities of all the creatures. For example, you completely skipped over the Minotaur Taskmasters without discussing their abilities at all and just put them in A tier. Also, in your level 2 creatures tier list, you claimed that only Blood Furies have the No Retaliation ability, but that isn't true. Blood Sisters have it as well.

Rakshasas aren't the weakest Tier 6 unit. No retaliation ability definitely makes them one of the best. Better than Wights and Witches for sure.

Elaina and Rutger are definitely A. And Maeve is tier S late game. You've got to be tripping for those Haven heroes.

Honestly I'd have almost all the unit buffing heroes below A because you never have a hero with only that one unit, and usually the buffs aren't good enough to make those units stand out. Three exceptions would be Ellaine(extra gold income from peasants), Havez(buffing tier 1 units is good, and it is ranged units for good early game), and Ingvar(because increasing the hp of a unit is broken). Outside of that I would say Spellwringer is good just because it stops the enemy from spamming spells like ressurection, phantom forces, and their main damaging spells.

Academy will lose. Most of the academy's 3rd upgrade units are weirdly anti-academy, so they can't do well here.

Okay, so, I agree with almost all of your choices except the lower tier. To start, I hate the dungeon faction. They rely on their hero doing all the work while the high hp creatures survive. This means that they are dismantled by counterspell and lose if their hero is weak. Inferno is fine where it is. The hero can make gating amazing(more units, gating takes half a turn), but still inferno is a agressive faction that needs to spend a turn to not be agressive. Now academy is my favorite faction. They have the least agressive army because 5/7 of the characters can stay in the back and prepare/do things. They are weak in the beginning because they deal ranged damage and their first 3 units have only 1 ranged unit. Later on the army dominates in ranged combat and can usually out damage most other factions with their spells and missles. Finally there are the artifacts that can double the damage of the army, if the faction has enough resources for it. All this to say: A tier because they are not as good as the elves.

Snipers and shotguns are S tier with the right build. Looks like you only ever played with ARs. Each weapon has pros and cons but you don't go into any real detail. 😢

Ok I will try to convince you why Starkers, skeletons and Sprites are easy S tier. Firstly imps. They mana steal is entirely irrelevant. It's useful only on small maps against Dungeon and Inferno. That's it. Sylvan, Necro and Academy heroes have high knowledge growth so they will never lack mana and Imps will rarely be able to steal enough. You would need 300 imps to destroy just 75 mana. That's about 6 weeks of Imps. You know how much mana those heroes have at 6 weeks? About 150 if not more if they get Intelligence with Enlightenment skill. And these magic heroes first target will be to obliterate your imps, which is pretty easy to do because they have shit hp. Imps should not be tier S but Tier A. Why? Because of their 13 initiative. Gating can be very effective with them. Vermin is slightly worse because he is destroying mana from unit spellcasters but most of those units can also shoot so it doesn't matter much again. Like I said mana stealing is inconsequential the biggest thing is their initiative, and the fact that they have fairly good dmg for a lvl 1 unit. Now for the Skellies hear me out. In early game you will always fight tier 1 or 2 neutrals so you can get your wood and ore mines. You should always buy second hero on day 1 to pick up the resources so you don't waste movement with your main her. So that's already about 70+ skellie archers. After wiping out mine and treasure guardians by the end of week one you have about 150~200 skellie archers. And from there they numbers just keep on growing. For the early and early mid game your archers are indispensable. You will be easily defeating neutrals much earlier than all the towns beside maybe Sylvan and Academy. After the mid game you swap them for Warriors. By that point you will have about 500~700+ skellies. Warriors have excellent defense stat for lvl 1, they are protected against archers, they can protect your units against archers, they have slight magic resistance AND they can stun (bash) an enemy units. And even if you loose them all it's not such a big of a loss you will slowly rebuild them, and your other units and necromancy will keep your armies sustained. This is the reason why skellies are S tier. They help your early game and then proceed to be great attacking unit in mid and maybe even end game. By end if you protected them you will have about 1000~2000k depending on the map size. Pixies are S tier because of 3 facts. No retaliation, Spray Attack and high initiative. That means that against more than half of the units you get to attack and then on second turn retreat before they even get their turn. Also when you upgrade them to dryads they can ressurect themselves and treants at the same time! The Sprite upgrade is nothing special Dryads are better because of ressurection and their spellcasting has cleansing, wasp spell is pretty bad and you should rarely use it. The important thing is that their ini rises to 15! and that they dmg rises to be always consistent. They also get small upgrade to hp and attack stat. Now couple that with Wind Dancers and Hunters you can see why Dryads are so great. And if you manage to keep them they will be great at protecting your treants with their ressurection ability. As for the Stalkers Dungeon is high dmg spell town. Don't forget that in battle preparation screen you can put your other units out of the battelfield and just deploy Stalkers. Because of their high ini you turn them invisible and proceed to devastate enemy stacks with your spells and hero attacks. While you do that you can attack with your stalkers other stack and either one shot them outright or bring them low so that the poison will finish them. By that point even if there is other stacks left they will be near dead because of your spells and because Stalker stats are effectively on par with tier 2 units they will rarely suffer loses. You can do this strategy against most of 1~3 tier neutrals in the first 2 weeks of the game. After that you swap can swap them for assassins for range poison or leave then as stalkers for invisible for safely killing weakened units that your other stacks couldn't managed to kill. The utility of Stalkers is great for dungeon who before the expansion had the hardest early game and almost always suffered losses. And you really don't want to lose your Maidens in the early game. Now for the other creatures I agree with your list, but I would maybe put Peasants at B solely because of their Taxpayer ability and for upgrading them to archers! But Brutes and Consripts are worthless. In my eyes they are worse then basic skellies and even goblins. At least goblins you can throw or sacrifice for mana and skellies are numerous and are cheaper then Brutes and Conscripts.

Ohh this one is probably the biggest one we will disagree with. The only units I agree are the Archers, both human one and centaur. I would maybe even put unapgraded versions of both into a just because they are archers with good stats. OK here we go.. Zombies. Shit tier, worst unit in the entire game. They don't even deserve D. I get what you are trying to say with the Plague Zombie, in theory they have a great ability but you must remember that they are the unit with worst initiative in the entire game. So for their effect to stack at least two times almost all other units will have two if not more turns than zombies. So their ability to stack is entirely useless. Also they have low movement so even than they will rarely get to apply their ability. Their dmg is also shit. Honestly the only thing they have going for them is their respectable hp. but the only time worth using them is in the very beginning where you would split them into smaller stacks so you could surround your skelly archers. After that you ditch them out and never buy them again. Necromancy is enough if you want them on your main, with that you can just turtle with your units and use zombies to take out enemy retaliation when they get near your army. Blood Maidens, oh poor Blood Maidens. I desperately want to put them in S but with no good conscience I cant. They have so much going for them, best ini in the entire game, great dmg for tier 2 no retaliation and serving almost as an archer but... Their growth of just FIVE per week and their low hp and defense is just devastating. B tier, it they had better growth they could easily be A maybe even S. In theory they are S just based on stats alone but that's not enough. Also every enemy will focus on them so even getting to keep them is a struggle. Also the other upgrade does have No Retaliation, but their bigger hp and slightly higher defense in exchange for worse damage and initiative is useless, because they still die like flies. Using this upgrade is a trap, there is no reason for them when Blood Maidens are just better unit overall. Blade and War dancers are bad, high dmg low survivability. Also Blade dancers do not attack multiple units. C tier all the way. Now Wind Dancer is great. While I wouldn't put them at S I can strongly see how they could be easy high A tier maybe even top. They have great stats and while they cant attack multiple units like their other upgraded brethren it just doesn't matter when you can dish out great dmg to a unit while also surviving a hit. Coupled with their teriffic ini and great speed in a faction whose heroes have great defense growth they can sometimes get defense stat that is even bigger than treants! Amazing unit, you know what, I take it back S tier all the way. Obsidian Golem B, basic one C, but Elemental A against Orcs, Necropolis and Haven. Against others D. The only reason why is because they don't have enough initiative and sometimes enemy heroes can get a turn before them and just devastate your units with Destruction spells. Also Academy mage guild focuses on Light and Summoning magic so chances for you as a Wizard to get high Destruction magic are slim. Obsidian Golem can serve as protection and is fairly tanky unit. While it's dmg isn't great they are immune to magic and can take out retaliations. also they fly so they can be great at blocking large units getting to your shooters. Demons are C. The leaping one is low A. Their dmg output is just bad and their movement speed is low. They just won't see the battle. Totally unimpressive unit. Harpooners I agree. Their dmg is abysmal. While I wouldn't put unapgraded at D just because they are the only early game shooters for Fortress the other ones I agree. I think you swapped the upgraded one pictures, the one with cripple ability you put at C instead of B.

Here I disagree with Minotaurs. I find them probably the worst tier 3 unit in the game. They have high health but awful defense, and one thing that all Dungeon heroes don't have is defense. Their high hp isn't doing anything with their defense of TWO! that's worse than some tier 1 creatures! With some other faction heroes that have good def growth they could be better but overall they are pretty rubbish. Also their weekly growth is the worst among tier 3s. Their dmg is high but the moment they get a hit they die like flies. I would put them at D all the way. If their growth was bigger they would be solid B maybe even A but in this state they are just bad. Hunters honestly all three of them I would put at S. Even unapgraded ones are such a huge boon for Sylvan in the early game, you can clear neutrals almost faster than any other factions just because of them. Both upgraded orcs I would put at A, but not S. Bot upgrades are good and both are serving a different strategy. One is for turtle defense the other one for huge offense. Strong solid units arguably the best balanced tier 3. Golems I would put upgraded ones in B unapgraded one in C. They are just to slow and because of their low ini that they aren't that useful. I almost never bring them with my main and usually either leave them to defend castle or slap them on secondary heroes to harras enemy mines or kill weak neutral units. The only other unit I disagree are Ghosts. In my opinion Ghosts are THE worst designed vise unit in the game. In a strategy game having something so RNG based is just bad design. While Moral and Luck are also somewhat RNG you can at least control them to some degree, something that you can't do at all with ghosts. Their untenability is their biggest weakness and having to rely on 50/50 luck of having your whole stuck getting obliterated while attacking is just bad. Their stats are low, their dmg output is nothing special and they are a pain in the neutral armies and almost useless in your hands. C or low B at most. But I still stand that they are the worst designed unit in the entire game. They should have taken a note from heroes 4 and give them huge defense but low dmg and aging effect, than the ghosts would be a good solid unit whit which you can tank and debuff the enemy. The other things I agree I always found the bears pretty mid, and Squires while huge in numbers and unmatched in tankines among lower tier units... just don't do dmg. Honestly buying them is just a waste of resources and if you want to protect you shooters from enemy range you just buy a couple of them and slap them between your archers. Enemy will almost never target them so their low numbers aren't a problem. But overall its almost always better splitting your archers into two stack than putting Squires in your army. B is good tier for them. They aren't useless but are unimpressive either.

Best list so far, there are only a few minor things I disagree. Firstly I would put Vampire Prince into S also. Torpor is broken, while they don't have No Enemy Retaliation Torpor is arguably even better. If it procs you put the enemy stack to sleep. That's not delay turn that's completely skipping two turns and on top of that if you attack them they don't retaliate. If you attack them than they do get their second turn becuse they will wake up but the first one is still lost, and your Vampires will still get another chance to hit them. They also have life steal. High Druid, the teal one, alternative upgrade is bad, like really really bad. They lose Lightning strike and the only spell they have is endurance. While they still shoot there is no reason why you should ever choose them. The only benefit is that they can increase you hero spellpower but as Sylvan will mostly use Light Magic and buffs that's in almost every circumstance downright useless. Easy C tier for them, other than that I agree with the other Druid placements. The only other disagreement I have is that I would swap Succubus Seducer with Mistress. Seduction is devastating, the benefit of just taking enemy whole unit instead of exponentially weaker chain damage of Mistress is much better. And that's it everything else you have said is pretty solid.

Nightmares and Hell Stalions should be Either S or high A because of Initiative. Hell Stalion also has a nice special of aoe dmg. Funny thing is I agree with chieftain at S but because of entirely different reasons than you. They bring aura of Initiative and just because of that they are easily S tier. Their dmg isn't special but they can hit and can take one too. The other ones I would put at low B at best, orcs already have good damaging units so executioners aren't that needed. Ouch Deep Hydra should be high B. They just don't do enough dmg something that Dungeon desperately needs. Sure they are survivable but that isn't going to cut it if they can't kill anything. And they are too slow. Acid and unupgraded hydra are probably D, worst tier 5 units in the game. Master Lich should be S only if your hero doesn't have Raise dead or you were unlucky to get that in your mage guild, otherwise I agree with their placement. One thing that you should have mentioned is that one of the reasons why Liches as as lackluster as you believe is that they are a large unit. For a mid tier shooter unit that doesn't grow at high numbers per week that is devastating. The only other two large shooting units are Centaurs and Titans. Centaurs have the benefit of high growth and Titans have great survivability so for them being large isn't a problem, but for Lich it's a HUGE downside. Priest I would put at D, they just aren't good. Bad Dmg, not that great hp and no spells, the only thing they are good is upgrading them to Cavaliers. Inquisitor and Zealot should be Solid B. The dmg is still atrocious but they are tanky and can cast good spells. Inquisitor is slightly better than Zealot but both have a role in the army unlike Priests. Genies I would put also at D, Master ones at C and Viziers at high B. Viziers are great, they are immune to lightning spells and have 75% magic immunity. Also 50 hp is finally not totally atrocious as their brethren and Wheel of fortune is great ability. You still don't want to send them on the front lines but as Rakshasa as I said in other comment they can be great at protecting your shooters and casting unluck on enemy shooters. Unicorns are fine, I would only swap Pristine Unicorns in A instead of Silver ones, solely because as Sylvan you will almost always have Light Magic. Rune Priests no comment, you said everything, great units.

Here I would swap a couple of creatures around, mostly bumping them a tier less. Treants no arguing, great overall units, what they lack at offense they make up in their usefulness and you can ressurect them and Dryads at the same time, fantastic unit. I would put Pit Lords at low A. While their magic is ok, the problem is that the more creatures that you have in one stack the more magic becomes worse. If every Pit Lord would bring the same spellpower to the whole stack they would be busted and easy SSS+. But as every new one brings diminishing returns to spell dmg they just aren't that great. Still they are fantastic addition to the Inferno, arguably the weakest faction of them all, and they bring that much needed survivability and offense without needing to suicide attack as most of their units. Wraith and Banshee I would put at B, they are just never as useful as other Necro units and are pretty much uninspired. Both have pretty awful specials and are overall lackluster. Wyverns I would put all at C, they just don't mesh that well with their faction and they don't have rage which brings them even more down and their building is ridiculously expensive. Arguably the worst tier 6 creature. Shadow Witches I would put at B also, their dmg just isn't there and their spells aren't anything special. But The melee one is easily not F but Z tier. There is no justification for how horrible that unit is for Dunegon that already lacks good ranged unit. On their own Rakshasa are B as you said but I think you are selling them short. They are great in Academy, you have spells to support them and you don't rush with them at the enemy. They are there to guard your shooters and support the Titans when the enemy gets closer. Probably easy A if you support them. On their own they are pretty lackluster, similar to Wraith. With Cavaliers/Paladins and Thanes I have no complaints they are just that good. Any downside that they have is easily mitigated with how much useful and good they are overall as a units. Probably the best designed units in the game overall, they are useful at every stage of the game and will be the mainstain in their respected armies.

OK here's the thing. I would never put Titans into S. While they are great and they don't have any flaws they should be A just because you have to upgrade them and investing that much resources into one creature is questionable. Before upgrade they are shit, they are worse than the Bone Dragons even. Colossus should easily be D tier, they just don't bring anything on the table for the academy and mostly because they have great offense with their shooters and magic. If Colossus could shoot he would probably be S tier just because you would get huge value for unapgraded unit but sadly this isn't the case. Storm Titans are up there in A also but are generally a slightly worse than Titans because their special is only worth it if you have 60+ of them which which almost never happen. Angels 100% agree. Magma Dragon I also agree but I would put Lava dragon into high C, compared to the Magma and even unparaded one they are just nothing special. They lose their flame shield which is the key thing why Fortress tier 7 are so annoying and hard to deal with. Their flame breath is good but they are just to slow and don't pose as much threat as the other two. Arch Devils are good but the Alternative upgrade should be at C also, teleporting other creatures to them just isn't as useful to the Inferno. Why would you ever want to teleport someone close when you can just swarm them with gating and use cannon fodder to weaken them before your main force wipes them out. I 100% agree with the black dragons placement also. Bloodeye Cyclops are arguably S, but here it isn't as clear cut. The fact that the rage can mitigate so much dmg and their busted special of cursing unit with bad luck makes them so survivable on top of having a great dmg and they can also ship away throwing goblins before they enter the fight. But having said all of that there are times when they just don't do anything at all at the battlefield and it feels like you have squandered so much money and recourses into a unit that doesn't do anything. So I would probably put them at high A or low S depending of circumstances. The other two versions are pure shit, Unapgraded one is just plain walker that doesn't do anything and is worse than Colossus probably low C or high D, and the other one is arguably the worse Tier 7 in the game. While Bone Dragons are just bad, at least they can't kill your own units something that Enraged Cyclops is absolutely perfect for. Against a human player Enraged Cyclops is your worst nightmare. He will ruin everything you own and at no cost for the other player than a couple of useless units, he's just that unusable with his 2x2 retaliation attack. At almost every point there will be at least one of your unit that he would attack with his awful retaliation and you will curse yourself why you ever bothered to bring them with you. Ok now this is the creature I think I agree the lest. Green dragons. They should be top S. Why you may ask? 14 Initiative. Simply put I don't have to say anything more. It's just insane, They are among the fastest creatures in the game, they have good offense and good defense. There's don't have a single weakness. While they may not be as tanky as Black Dragons or do as much dmg as some other tier 7, they so well rounded and they can go multiple times before many creatures, especially because as Sylvan you will probably have light magic and haste. Bone Dragons I would put at D and the other ones would the same leave as B, their aura and cursing attack are quite nice and with bonus building in Necro town you can produce really big stack of them, something that other factions don't have available. Also they are cheap. Definitely weakest Tier 7 in term of stats, but not at all unusable and you will never be sorrow that you have them.

Zombies are without any arguments THE worst creature in the entire game. They do shit dmg, they are slow and have low int and even than their hp isn't that impressive. What good is a tough unit if it needs 3 or more turns just to get to you? Also it seems like you aren't even considering the importance of Initiative in ranking. Initiative is the single most important stat in the game and some units that are on surface lvl "bad" are amazing. Like compare "bad" Assasins with zombies and they have almost three entire turns before zombies! Also one more reason why your rankings are so bad is something that you yourself admitted in the video MULTIPLE times and that's the fact that you don't even know half of the unit specials or what they do or you give entirely false information. For instance you think that basic sprite has spellcasting when in actuality she doesn't. And this is only ONE of the multiple examples examples.
