No CEL!, BMW makes it easy, it could be kind of tight spaces under the seat and fairings, but having zip ties makes it easy with all mods. After 5 years owning the bike and 25,000 miles later, these same signals are still on and still working 👌

Technically your suppose to but I was able to do it without fully clearing up the space. Elbow grease, 1 man, and plenty of time to fit the headers in, 2 man is much easier, you will be glad it’s a 1 and done job and well worth it! Good luck!

I used google, prices vary constantly, Amazon ebay aliexpress are my goto, but also drone fpv stores have parts to shop around for, good luck!

I see alot of complaints on reviews and videos for this bag saying it flies off. But, I've had mine for over a month, I've traveled from my home (oklahoma city) to dad's home (north of tulsa) traveling on the turnpike with speed limits of 75mph and 80mph. I would at times when passing get into the low triple digits briefly. 105, 110... this bag has never moved on my bike. I took the top magnet and moved it to the left flap, the bottom magnet I moved to the right flap. I don't use the top and bottom flaps so I doubled the magnet on each side. I've gone to the store amd bought a 2ltr of mt dew and carried that home inside the bag. At speed, taking corners, whatever even with that bulk/weight the bag never moved. It's my opinion that when a bag flies off, it's either not shaped correctly for the tank, or its mounted wrong. High on tank right in path of wind. I mount mine so that the small pouch is basically touching my seat. So it's as far back on the tank as possible. This takes it out of the wind more, also allows my thighs to kind of cradle it as my knees are gently against the tank. However anyone who needs it mounted higher.... tractor supply/home depot sell magnets. Buy one about the size of a half dollar that's great quality for $5 or so and place that in main compartment. Those have a 90lb+ weight hold rating. It's an easy fix if bag has to be high and in the wind. If you don't want the magnet in your compartment, use the flap on back that can be used to store rags like the other comment stated. Use that space for a stronger bigger magnet 🧲 🤷‍♂️ My opinion is.... it's not crap. But it's universal. So some critical thinking and problem solving can easily make this bag useful on different tank shapes. 🤔

Also... if anyone is curious about my tank, shape, slope, seat position.... I ride a 22 kawasaki vulcan s cafe. One day when I get a camera... or a friend with a camera..... I'm going to post a video of me doing 110mph with this bag, with only the 4 little magnets. And loaded like I would normally have it. Just to prove that position of the bag is what's important. But then I'll show it on a bike that has to have it mounted high, with an extra $5 strong half dollar sized magnet. 😉 and we will see it at highway speed. If your buying a $25 bag from Amazon and not the $99 bag at your local bike shop, your obviously trying to save $$$ like I am. So..... add a silly $5 magnet if u feel the need to. That's cheaper than trying 2 or 3 budget bags where in the long run you will spend as much or more than if u would have just got the $99 bag. If u need the $25 bag, secure your investment with a $5 magnet. 🤷‍♂️🤦😉🤯

I used proper tools, wrenches, socket extensions, long pliers, needle nose to hook the pipes securely. Owning a bike and if you DIY, quality tools are a must, maybe I should do a video on that…. 🤔

and now to EV's =P not sure when I"ll be uploading those, have done a bunch of mods and personal opinions on the whole EV market. Crazy times we live in, prices are shocking as everyone can feel.

It's good, I realized now that I would have gone with a clear screen, the dash brightness is fine with a tinted visor via settings, but also on track a dark screen is difficult at times, having a good tuck the sides that are not "see through" blocks view at times but its manageable if not riding too aggressive under wind. Either way PUIG makes good stuff I like em!

Nope, no resistors needed flashes normal and not fast speed, this could be due to various manufacturer or I just got lucky with the signals I got, yes and no on PNP. The one I got was just AWG copper wire, I did the heat shrink method which took more time to install and make sure the wiring would be a good but overall it’s not difficult at all, there’s not many wires so trial by error is easy. For this specific bike and specific signals I got it worked flawlessly. Even after almost 2years the mods and wiring and DIY are fine, as always if you don’t feel confident always take it to a pro shop to do it! Ride safe!

@@agwag9x19 nice, what's the part number or brand? The ones on Amazon comes with 3 wires, which one wires to the parking lamp? And which wires for the turn signals?

@@AlanTrades the integrated front turn signals are no longer offered sadly, and don’t have the install this video of the DIY, next video I’ll do a more detailed visual of all the changes! This also goes for the tail tidy, not in stock anymore, both were purchased by the best “prime” store 😊

I prefer shorty since day one of riding, better fit to my riding style, I trail brake often and prefer to have a quicker way to transition on off the handlebar, just personal preference but a quality lever is good to have over a knock off, yes they might work for a short period but you can feel the difference as time goes by, the CRG I have on all my bikes, if it ain’t broke why fix it right? It’s easier to jump on each bike and not adjust. Leverage wise it’s quite the opposite you get more from a longer lever honestly. There’s pro and con to a mod or anything changing the physics of a mechanical device. I type alot and also use a grip exercise to strengthen fingers. It helps if your stuck at a long light with the clutch in, vs stopped in N in front of cars. If the stock clutch isn’t working you should adjust it, the manual has all the info and I think there’s the nickel or quarter method to measure what’s needed in clutch play, cable lube is also key, especially for winters and low temps for me sitting in a garage for 3+ months the cable can get rough. I use motion pro lube and their chain tools which work great, GL!

Just brentune, I did the sprint filter/full system install myself. The brentune comes to you delivered, plug and play. Recommended to do all 3 at once, doing one without the 2 is not worth it like getting only a sip of coffee rather than a whole cup if that makes sense.
