This is why I recommend that anyone who has to have a hospital birth and wants to do so naturally, I highly recommend coming with a doula if you can. They will help advocate for your birth plan so you don’t have to waste energy on it. You did a great job advocating for yourself

I hate hospitals in this country. Telling her we can’t really support you in that position, trying to get her to lay on her back even though that goes against the bodies natural instincts. Saying she’s going to tear which is actually more common trying to go against gravity. *eyeroll*
