@providencefrisco I totally get that God uses a lot of ordinary people, He also uses some extraordinary people… Daniel, David, Isaiah, John the Baptist, Paul, etc… there are countless people in the Bible that were far from “ordinary” or “common”… I mean John the Baptist leapt in his mother’s womb is hen the Holy Spirit came upon get, Paul learned at the feet of Gamaliel, David had already killed a lion and a bear as a teenager, Daniel, I mean, he was Daniel lol. I say all that so that we aren’t putting too much emphasis on God using the “ordinary”… because God uses both the ordinary and the extraordinary individual… 40:24

Excellent word on evangelizing

Can one leave the establishment that is the church while not losing one’s faith? Can one have a deeper faith after stepping out of what we call “church” only to truly discover God for the first time in their life? And what if that person has tried to re-enter churches only to find more pride and arrogance about what one “understands” about the Bible that you don’t yet? Deconstruction of one’s faith is dangerous, but deconstructing what you’ve been taught (both good and bad) as you dive into the Word for yourself is healthy and I’m wondering why that’s not encouraged more? What’s wrong with questioning the establishment that is the church in the US today? Is the western church really what Paul would have expected when he set out to establish and defend the Church?

Great sermon today

Here lately the volume has been extremely low!!! I listen with speakers and it's still low but not sure if they realize this. It is a blessing to get to listen to Bro Afshin's Chutch:) Hugs and Prayers

God created us with dirt, therefore we come in various colors of dirt, black, white, brown, yellow and red...Why are there no blue or green people? Because dirt doesn't come in colors of blue or green. God never talked about racism or skin colors, because God only looks at our hearts and deeds. We should do the same.
