I love this song

Tool just gets better and better.

The mix is really weird in this song, what is the cause? The guitar is getting lost, and the drums are very overpowering, and it's consistent across multiple shows. Is it because of the flying V using the same settings as the les paul? The guitar is getting lost in the mix, why aren't they doing anything about it?

Dunkle Stimme: Das, was Menschen tun im Namen anderer ….. Ich sehe, daß Du wartest, auf eine Art von Rechtfertigung, für das, was Menschen in Deinem Namen tun Warum sprichst Du mit mir? Hast Du keine Angst? Fear the Fearless, hear the Fearless. So viele Generationen brachten Haß und Neid und Zwietracht auf die Erde. Menschen. Krieg und Tod und Untergang. Immer sich berufend auf dich, Lichtbringer, ältester Sohn der Engel, Du Aufmüpfiger. Ich bin froh, wenn das endlich ein Ende hat. Man hat Dir alles aufgepackt von Anfang an Das ist wahr Alles geschah und wurde geschrieben, von Menschen, kolportiert, alles auf Deinem Namen und Rücken. „Teufel“. Menschen tun Teuflisches. Das ist wahr. Alles, was Menschen taten, Päpste, Soldaten, Mörder, Vergewaltiger, in so vielen Tausend Jahren geschah aus Angst, dem Gegenteil von Liebe, und Du warst immer Zielscheibe. Weinen, Feuer, Martyrium (musikalisches Inferno). „Das hat mir weh getan Gott hat dem Menschen zwei Versprechen gegeben: Das ewige Leben und die eigene Entscheidung zwischen den Dingen.....“ Ja, das ewige Leben und Erfahren nennen die Buddhisten Nirvana wir nennen es ewiges Gericht und Wiederauferstehung. Und die eigene Entscheidung, um die geht es hier: Der Mensch kann immer entscheiden, ob er Gutes oder Böses tut. Der Mensch hat den Krieg erfunden, die Folter, den Haß, den Neid, den Mord die Niedertracht, den Zweifel, den Betrug die Mißgunst, das Isolieren untereinander, die Politik, das Geld, den Zins, die Klassengesellschaft, die Einsamkeit, Hartz 4 und Steuern und Money for nothing für Haben statt zu Sein. und einfach nur: die Unmenschlichkeit. Der Mensch hätte sich auch für das genaue Gegenteil entscheiden können. Für die Menschlichkeit. Für die Philanthropie statt der Misanthropie. Für Solidarität und Mitmenschlichkeit Für Ehrlichkeit und Klarheit Für Würde und das Leben. Aber der Mensch hat dann im Laufe seines irdischen Entstehens den Teufel erfunden. Und die Kirchenmenschen mit ihrer Auslegung des Wortes Gottes an erster Front. Er hat aus Luzifer, dem Lichtbringer, dem ältesten, dem „gestürzten Engel“ den Teufel gemacht, den Satan, Baphomet das Dunkle und Böse schlechthin. Warum? Der „Trost der Relation“ ist ein Wort von Heinrich Böll. So wie Menschen sich ein schlechtes Gewissen machen, wenn sie Schlechtes tun und dabei an Gottes Worte denken, so machen sie sich ein gutes Gewissen, wenn sie an den Teufel denken. Denn: der war es ja, warum der Mensch Böses tat und tut und tun wird. Immer der Teufel, nicht der Mensch. Die eigene Entscheidung ruft immer auch die eigene Verantwortung für unsere Taten nach sich. Ich, Roland, kann das kollektive Unbewußte der Menschen nicht ändern sondern nur auf Denkfehler hinweisen. Aber, der „Teufel“ hat das Böse nicht erfunden, sondern wir selbst. Teufel ist nur eine Projektionsfläche für Verantwortungslosigkeit unter Menschen. Das will ich mal in aller Deutlichkeit hier über ihn sagen. Das tut mir unendlich gut. Du hast Dein Versprechen gehalten. Geh einen Weg. Und: Danke. Die Evolution der Menschen braucht eigene Verantwortung für das menschliche eigene Tun. Menschen sind nicht vomTeufel besessen sondern der Teufel ist vom Menschen benutzt. Das dritte Versprechen hast Du vergessen: nach Eurem letzten menschlichen Leben kehrt Ihr heim in die Quelle, aus der ihr stammt. In das Meer der Schöpfung. So wie ich. Es war eine Prüfung Gottes er hat uns „nur“ geprüft, in dem Fall durch den „Teufel“. Wir haben diesen selbst ge+ erfunden Ein Gespräch von heute Abend im März...bis September 2010. Boooooring

Phenomenal musicians, the singer sounds astounding ! The drummer is from another planet ! They are definitely in a Satanic Relm ! What does that say for me I Like this band a lot ! However there sound is pure evil ! Love their drummer! I’m a drummer ! Would love to one day be on Dans level ! Shit one out of a million my one day ! Tool you guys are definitely of this world !

They look to be in fine form, but those guys getting up and down during the song are just infuriating.

Great show…both bands blew the doors off of CFG

I was in 111 directly across from the stage, but on the far side of the arena (club level). Must see from that vantage as the lights/effects may be designed to sync up there. Certain images were right through the center of the star. The lasers were both above and below that spot making various reflections adding to the effects. This vantage give great details on the stage, but farther back I think you get the full effect of the stage presence.

He then said yeah well, sold yourself out. 19th Tool show and Maynard talked to me, I could have died. Would be sick if you had that footage.

How was elder?

My son and I were in Sec 121. They definitely took the visual show up several notches from when they came to DC in 2022. Also included Undertow which they completely left out that year. Much better show this time.
