How long?
We caught around a dozen that day between 25 and 28 inches. Can't remember which was which LOL...
or just dont fish for walleye in deep water...that fish will die 100%

What is the purpose of this?
When you catch fish DEEP, they fill with air that can be released. We only do this to keep fish alive for tournaments.

I was wondering, is that a heater ? And can some fish not detect that anomaly and flee it as it s a warmer than usual area ?
The heat doesn't have much, if any effect. The only thing that spooks walleyes when you're that shallow is footprints, drilling holes, and the transducer noise. Sometimes sight fishing is your best route.

@@cjheer6686 Jason has family in town, so I'm sure they go to Little's a lot. I hang out west by Dakota Waters/Beulah Bay area...and on weekends if I travel east...it's for the Prime Rib at The Harbor Bar. :-) I mean, how can you not???

How fast do you go and do you use your motor or trolling motor?
USUALLY, around 2 mph, give or take. Sometimes slow, sometimes fast....depends on their mood. I only use my kicker along with my bow mount to troll.
