How To Change Kirby Vacuum Belt @KickassVacuums
We had a sebo K3 growing up in Germany and I remember the very original sebo ET1 head. It was loud as hell but it never failed to clean properly. My mother (being an extremely obsessively clean German woman) would vacuum with it for hours every Saturday, singing “fly me to the moon” in a thick German accent. When the vacuum broke after nearly 20 years, she cried before coming home with this. I no longer live in Germany, but I bought one of these vacuums specifically due to the joy my mother had with it. This would have been early 2000s like 2002-2003 (Apologies if some of this is incoherent as I don’t speak Engliss very fluent)
I bought a C1 last year and I am so happy with it! I have always had canister vacuums and when my Simplicity Wonder died, I replaced it with the Miele. Any time I have the opportunity to purchase German, that is my first choice.
Hi I’d like a new dust filter for my Hoover Max Extract Pressure Pro Model 60.
Without a vacuuming (like a Green Machine) all you are doing is mixing the dirt with the foam. The dirt stays in the carpet.
Thanks
What are they trading them in for?
th-cam.com/video/R0HUAyCfkbM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=Qjc-AXcrwsXoYDuu German made Sebo from America’s best Vacuum Store. Call us 1-800-263-5425 Text us 1-877-VAC-TEXT
Why should we not buy a vacuum cleaner online? Is it because they can come with issues or?
Depends on what kind of vacuum and your priorities. If you’re of the belief that “a vacuum cleaner is a vacuum cleaner” and you don’t care about the quality, reliability, ease of use or filtration, than you might be ok getting one online. You might be disappointed but you could always throw it away and get another one. If you want to “buy once and buy right” you probably should go to the local vacuuum shop, talk to the professional, test a few vacuums and see which one is “right” for you. That said, if you don’t have a “pro” in your area than you might be left with no choice but to buy online or call me. I happen to own America’s best vac shop and I can help. 1-800- 263-5425
It is a good machine with good filtration. But, for the record, it is not HEPA filter. They call it "hospital grade" which I think is a made-up term. It is good, it is fine, but not HEPA. I did just buy one today, from a local vacuum store. My salesman said that one advantage of it not being HEPA is the bags are a little cheaper than machines that are HEPA.
I don't understand why machines that use a HEPA bag even need a HEPA filter... there's literally NO dust that escapes the bag... the bag chamber stays spotless.... if the bag chamber stays spotless...how can there be any dust escaping at all... I mean, the bag chamber would eventually pick that up over time... but it never does... it stays clean... at least that's been my experience with bagged HEPA vacuums that have a good seal
“Think about trading this in…because Dumping a container? Not a good idea.” That’s a very biased statement. It all depends on what your needs are and what your preference is. If you have serious life threatening allergies, taking a bag out and disposing of it is for sure a good idea. However if you have a good strong immune system and you would prefer not to have to deal with the cost of replacing vacuum bags, emptying a container is without a doubt a good idea. I don’t mind that there’s better vacuums than Dyson, what I mind is how a lot of people are biased towards bagged machines. The choice between a Bagged vacuum and a Bagless vacuum all depends on what your needs and preferences are! Make no mistake about that!
Woo!!! Awesome stuff @zmanifest you’re on a roll today !!!!!!
“You need to get your Dyson into the local vac shop no matter how well it’s running, no matter how long you’ve had it.” No I don’t, I know perfectly well how to service them myself. I collect and restore vacuums. I have over 14 Dyson vacuums and I know perfectly well how to keep them up and running myself. I have the skills and techniques, so I don’t need a vac shop to keep my vacuums up and running.
Awesome!!11
Best video I have found telling me how to use this machine. Thank you for taking the time to make this video.
Thank you very much for this video demostration. I was gifted with this carpet cleaner and had no idea how to use it. All I need now is the foam cleaner form my local aerus electrolux store. You didnt mention which model you used....Mine is S105G . Please advise if I need different instructions. Thanks. Glenda
This vacuum cleaner is the best hands down. I own 3 of them cause I had a residential cleaning business for over 21 years
Believe me the the German made Sebo vac is the best cleaner I’ve ever owned , if you can’t afford it now save up for it , you’ll never regret it.
This one specifically?
Thank you! I honestly didnt think i was going to find a video to help me with putting this together. My bf brought this kirby home with a box full of parts and left it to me to figure out. 🤦♀️ Now i can finally clean my nasty carpet
Great Video! Supporting locally businesses is sooo important! More people need to know this! Super heros you are!
Let be Honest most of these machines will last more like 40 years with good care, i am still using my 30 year old Renaissance Daily and i love this machine, i also have a epic 6000 Sr from 1992 that is basically the same machine but with the steel wands and not the plastic ones that runs like a champ, the only real problems with these machines are the Power nozzle necks, they are just not made to hold up over time but if you get a couple of them when you get the machine your are pretty much set for life,
I recently was in the market for a new vacuum cleaner. Changing from a canister (Miele) to an upright. I brought a bag of cat litter (clean) to the store to use instead of the usual pink stuff the store has. I was all set on getting a Sebo upright - until I took a handful of my cat litter and tossed it onto the floor, some on rug and most on the tile floor. The Sebo couldn't make a dent in picking up the cat litter which was made from paper with some pine crumbles mixed in. I was shocked as was the sales person. I purchased a Riccar P25.2 Pet vacuum. It is wonderful and picks up everything it finds in it's path. It works on my hardwood floors and a couple of area rugs. The Riccar doesn't care - dirt and cat litter out of my way.
Please bring more demo videos
How do I buy one of those Electrolux?
Call us 1-800-263-5425
I beat my to death w hammer bc i could not get bottom of bag to disconnect it would not turn at all cd not find a way to unlock it nothing in the end yes i killed it by hammer
This doesn't seem to be compatible with the HX1 Pro
I have to say thank you for the great videos covering the Lindhaus products. I just purchased a 300 as my vacuum of choice, having deliberated with other brands including Riccar and Sebo. I look forward to using it as well as the dry carpet cleaning system. Where is the best place to purchase those products?
Aerus is Greek for air.. In German , Danish, Swedish, Norwegian , the word "LUFT" meaning air in English would be much better than Aerus... I recommend Aerus very Highly.. I have got a old Electrolux Silverado Deluxe... It still works. very well to this today.. Wal Mart vacuum cleaners are down right "Scrap." You get very good quality with Areus..
The Silverado was one of the all time great Electroluxes. Early Diamond Jubilees and even some Olympia's had motor problems, as did early Model 1521s that came after the Silverado. But the Silverado was one of those machines that came off the production line with no weaknesses or flaws. Superb, durable machines.
I have one, from SEBO UK. It's brilliant and the only cylinder vacuum you can buy in England with a motor powered head. Miele are good BUT not as good!
Robbie 😅
love it ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Loving the 90s style commercial
The felix is a brilliant machine they can last 10 to 15 years and are one of the very few machines that actually need repairing the agitation suction filtration are brilliant and they are very quiet in use with a 2700rpm brush speed that really can give a deep down clean
Pobrecito se parece al mío no les damos de comer y mira que cara de pena😂😂😂
How about showing us how to remove the handle cut the hose back a bit and put the handle back?
Hi Frank, sorry but I don’t think that’s possible. Sounds like you probably just need to replace the hose. We can get you a new or a used one. Feel free to give us a call 1-800-263-5425
Power nozzle
That could possibly be the worst rug to demo vacuum cleaners on.
Quite possible
nice
Why did you do that to MY EARS?
nice
For how many I sold for the buyers in my area i gave them a coupon to contact me 1 time in the 1st year to train them how to use if they forget. It sold more when i added that. People are just too busy and many have back pain and hate bending to detach and attach parts. I wvwn gave a newbue a tip to by a stick vac and give it as a gift if they bought that day. Most Kirbys sat in the closet after that. Still sold. Less angry customers. Your demo even though more detailed and slow is a bit too much for most owners and those with attention issues and anxiety.
Thanks for the input. The follow up is a great idea. Where do you sell?
I love my Sebo D4❤
Thank you for the great video. I am getting ready to do my first carpet shampoo job with my new Kirby Avalir 2. Very thorough explanation. I am excited to get the job done since my wife wants it done before Thanksgiving.
Anyway to clean the line out?
Then dont post it😭
Why hello there
Helllo
Nice good and beautiful dog
😂😂😂😂😂😅❤❤❤❤❤❤
Don't overdo putting the foam on because it will wet the carpet too much if you do. Just go back and forth across the spot a couple times and then work it in. When you do it right and only go over it a couple times, the carpet will only be damp, and only take a couple hours to dry. It should not be so wet that it takes an entire day or two to dry.
I used to go door to door selling these when it was still called Electrolux. Great shampooers! I have a Kirby ... only because they came to our door and I didn't know where to get an Electrolux one at the time. Still kick myself for it lol. The design of the Aerus is just really really good, and never gave me problems when I demonstrated it. The Kirby has a weird screen that foams the shampoo, and it did not hold up well at all through just a few shampoos. Now I can't get the foam to come out right. I never have had that issue with the Aerus. If they aren't too expensive, I am thinking of going ahead and getting an Aerus shampooer because I just like the way it works so much better.
Micsoda szemek... Cuki 🙂
pupici.....
I want to get a K3 for my grandpa but Im leaning more towards an upright since I dont want him to trip over the canister. A fall for a 90 year old is a disaster.
