SFF Gaming & Desktop PC Build
I hope you enjoy my first pc build. I worked hard on it and I'm happy with what this computer can do. I made this video using it. Sorry for the crappy audio with all the background static, I’m definitely not a professional.
Parts List:
128 gb of teamgroup’s tforce ddr4 ram with a transfer speed of 3600mhz
A 700W SilverStone power supply with an 80+ Gold rating and pre-sleeved cables. This upgrade will finally allow my pc to support overclocking for both my cpu and gpu.
A 10Gig ASUS wifi adapter with an ethernet adapter transceiver
A Graugear nvme ssd cooler, with a 4 pin cord for fan speed control
An extra usb pcie card to give me a speedy additional usb and usb-c slot
A Noctua NH-L9 cpu air cooler, along with some conductonaut liquid metal
A 1tb random panther series ssd
A 1tb samsung evo 870 ssd
A 1tb samsung evo 990 nvme ssd
The MSI OC LP graphics card with an rtx3050 chipset, along with a handy dandy display port splitter
The intel i9-9900k cpu, which I have gone ahead and delidded for extra cooling since this cpu tends to run hot. I delidded this cpu using a cheap plastic delidder off of amazon.
The star of the show, the MSI mag z390m mortar m-atx motherboard. This motherboard has 4 slots for ddr4 ram and can support a transfer speed of 4400mhz, which is 2 more slots and 1800mhz faster than my old motherboard. It also has an extra full size pcie slot, 2 extra fan headers, an IO shroud, a much sexier io shield, and an integrated wifi/bluetooth card. All a huge upgrade from my old motherboard, which had none of that.

get the 4060 lp its much much faster you have the power budge. 2x speed love the vid tho 👍
@@josephdemers9356 trust me, it doesn’t fit. This one barely does and that one is like 30% longer
You should only do 2 stick of ram if you're planning on gaming
@@steelie7987 i mostly do web dev stuff with lots of chrome usage
Why would you use a gpu stand for the lightest gpu that won’t need one ? Also isn’t the stand a potential hazard for short circuit and physical damage for the board if you decide to have the case laying flat ? Beside that, nice build , interesting choice of components
@@AAAA-el6cx no I actually have it because it’s cool as shit. And I have the case standing up. It was flat for the test boot. And I’m not worried about a short at all.
can definitely see you being a big pc youtuber like oztalkshw or randomgaminginhd it was a great video
my left ear😳 XDD
deffo my favourite video i have watched all month, i was genuinely surprised that was your first time because it looked sick. nice video.
@@picardo5397 thanks so much!
why didn't u go for the 4060 LP?
@@coohlbeans2191 wanted to but it’s too long for my case
@@coohlbeans2191 always use PC part picker to make sure a component will actually fit
@@tweedy4481yeah, I think installing that optical drive is what limiting you from making that upgrade.
@@tweedy4481174mm>182mm. I’m sure you can squeeze than 8mm in!! Haha
@@coohlbeans2191 the cd drive? I think it’s kinda standard. If there’s smaller bluray read/write drives out there it’s definitely worth looking into
How much of a difference temperature wise does direct die cooling make?
@@playpals the i9-9900k runs really hot, like 70C or more under load, and now it’s at least 15C cooler. It’s super impressive just how much of a difference it makes
It is possible direct die the 7800x3d with Thermalright Axp90-x53 full copper?
@@kuzzzzzzzzzzzz7511 yes as long as it’s not an aluminum heatsink. You’ll still get staining on it but the liquid metal won’t eat away at it. Just make sure you get the proper hardware and contact frame
Where are you from
❤❤❤
Just why😂?
Lol I suck buddy. We should team up so you can show me how it’s done
@@tweedy4481 maybe another time😉
