    Tried this wrench recently and loved everything about it except for how you actually apply the torque when you are getting near the click setting (the single most important aspect of the tool itself!). Having to hold the wrench by approximately only 1 centimeter of handle end while torquing down a bolt I’m sorry, but it makes no ergonomic sense at all and pretty much makes it a nonstarter tool for me. I could not even get my full index finger tip width on the tool without going past that knurled area. I’m really surprised no one noticed this during testing and did not suggest designing a torque wrench with a handle (even a minimalist one, but with a good deal bigger grip area than the allowable grip area on this tool) that you can actually get a decent grip on without holding the tool too close to the head messing up the torque being applied. Sorry, but this is a very flawed design IMO and it’s a shame because everything else about the tool seems top notch. As a comparison, compare the use of this wrench versus the Effetto Mariposa 1-8 nm non-ratcheting torque wrench. That wrench is only slightly bigger than this wrench, yet the allowable grip area on their handle is 5+ times wider than this wrench and that permits you to easily get a solid grip on the tool with multiple fingers on it plus your thumb to tighten down bolts until you hear the click.

    Looks like the bike weighs one or two pounds!?!? Glad you refer to the stand as a sports mechanic bike repair stand. If you’re not an avid aggressive acrobatic sporty cyclist then you probably don’t need such a stand. Actually stands are all basically the same; some have two legs; some have three legs; some are better at handling the basic clamping functions than others. At least with dumbbells they are balance and pretty heavy weight can be lifted. But bikes can be very unwieldy to lift. And some stands are more stable than others. Basically I don’t like having to lift a bike into place and hold it up with one hand. Many bikes are pretty heavy too heavy for such lifting. Find the whole stand design rather odd. Gotta be a better way…

    The bike does not sit in the cradle, it sits on the the cradle. It took me endless videos and research until I finally realised this is on purpose, you cant change the width of the cradle so that it is snug in. Also, while it is super helpful, this is video is misleading a bit in such regard.

    I’ve had 2 of the original hinges for 5 years now and it fits my 45mm wide OD rims with a 27.5 x 3.0” tire. It doesn’t fit my 4.8” fat bike wheel/tires, I can’t remember my rim width, but it’s like 80mm. This new design doesn’t look like it will fit either. So what’s the point of this revision? Not many people are riding around on super wide rims, maybe the E-bike crowd but those bikes with chunky tires weigh more than 55 lbs.

    I agree that the Musak sucks. A simple instruction sheet would have sufficed. The key things to know are do not tighten past the click, don’t use the wrench to loosen bolts, and reset the torque level to 0 when done. Really don’t need a video to get those simple points across.

    How do you know if it is out of calibration ? Can we send it back to feedback to recalibrate it? Also does it torque in both directions ?

    • @FeedbackSportsOfficial
      @FeedbackSportsOfficial 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can return to Feedback Sports to check calibration but if used correctly (no over-torquing past the click, returning to zero after use) it should last years without drifting from factory torque calibration. It can measure torque in both directions but we don't advise using it to loosen stuck bolts, only to properly torque left- and right- hand threaded parts to spec.

    Greetings! I have this model and I am a newbie at bike maintenance. When I put the bike in the stand, if I turn the pedals, they knock aginst the stand body. What is wrong with my setup? Thanks!

    • @FeedbackSportsOfficial
      @FeedbackSportsOfficial 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Make sure the bike is mounted 90-degrees perpendicular to the clamp jaw arm. There is normally plenty of space between the main tube of the repair stand and the pedals. It's possible that some bikes with wide cranks and wide pedals might hit the main telescoping tube of the repair stand. If so, you can usually swivel the bike so the handlebars are lower in order to move the cranks away from the main tube of the repair stand. Sometimes you'd have to remove the front wheel for this.

    would rather have a 4NM torque than a 5NM torque for high-end carbon. you can always torque more, but hard to gauge torquing less. Please make a version of 3 or 4NM for carbon parts and smaller screws.

    Hi. I just got it, and I love it. One question regarding the progressive resistance. I had three sessions so far, and even in the toughest combination front/rear gear, the resistance is essentially nonexistent. Is there anything I can do to toughen up the rides and enjoy more my training? Thanks, Stefano

    • @FeedbackSportsOfficial
      @FeedbackSportsOfficial 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The Omnium Over Drive has progressive internal resistance which increases as the rear wheel speed increases. The Zero Drive has essentially no resistance, for those that need to focus on spinning really fast. If you have the Over Drive, you should certainly feel it getting harder to pedal when you're in a higher gear.
