The Poland Experience
Poland
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 24 ก.ย. 2020
The Poland Experience is a channel where you can find videos about what life is like in Poland from the perspective of a person who has moved to Poland from another country for family, work, to study or just to live. We showcase foreigners and immigrants experiences on this channel and talk about the immigration process, what the Universities are like, the Polish Food, destinations and other topics.
You can expect a full episode posted every other week with shorter segments posted in between the long form content.
Your Host, Tony Lombardo, came up with the idea for this channel after talking with other people who had moved to Poland for a variety of reasons and wanted to share their stories with the world, thus The Poland Experience was born.
We hope to provide useful information, entertain, and give you a better sense of what Poland is like if you are looking to move here, vacation here or just curious.
We look forward to seeing you in the comments!

Muslims are always the victim minded, they come from shit countries and want to turn the country that gave them safety to the same shit .
presently you can obtain gun license in 3-4 months and buy 10 or more any gun except `automatics.
Lame, Poland has shit self defense laws just like communist canuckastan.
Poland is one of teh safest countries in the world with 0,6 homocides per 100.000 people and is not psychopath country where shootking kids and teachers in schools, people in bars, people on music concerts, people in churches, hospitals, military bases, schoping malls and cinemas is a national sport. you own guns because you are afraid.. afraid of everythin and afraid of anyone.. even your neighbours.
What is Islam? Islam is misogynistic cult of death, wars, murder, cruelty, immorality: peadophilia, rape, adultery, sex-slavery, child merriage (till 2 day), idolatry as Muslims worship satan as god and mere man Muhammad=god.p Prove in many verses in quran: For instance sura 4:14 "And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and transgresses His limits - He will put him into the Fire to abide eternally therein, and he will have a humiliating punishment." Sura 9:31 "They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allāh,1 and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary.2 And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him." First of all nobody took scholars and monks as lords beside Allah! This is Muhammad's imagination/lies, not God's inspiration (quran is inspiration of satan). So, Muslims do not worship only Allah but Muhammad taking him as lord beside Allah ! 5× a day Muslims worship satan their god, they are inspired by satan to persecute and kill people who do not believe in his lies. Moreover: Muslims blaspheme against Jesus Christ as predicted Saviour thousands years before he came to this world in human flesh to save human kind from condemnation we all deserve for all sins we committed against God. Islam is brutal deception of satan against human kind, because people failed away from grace of God who created this world disobeying Him.
Can someone please say is it safe for a hijabi girl to go to poland as an international student?? Please i really need to know

The modern state of Poland has been designed specifically for ethnic Polish people so it’s a monolithic ethnic Polish state That’s not to say that non-Polish people live in Poland for EU or they get visas for the most part. They do not have a history of accommodating multicultural people this stems from their history, especially in the 20 century. Inherently Polish culture you have a violent rate because you have a motto ethnic society so people live fairly harmonious with each other because they know what to expect from the person who is Similar to them As expected, there is no American style second amendment right to bear arms so it’s a privilege and they probably copied similar European schemes from other countries The one principal fighting European countries is that personal violence against other people is usually the monopoly of the state and is vested in people who are armed police officers so I can imagine getting a license for security is going to be a much higher bar and you will not be given an automatic pass if you shoot somebody in your house That is, you can very stiff legal scrutiny on your actions
Sir what are you yapping about? Poland has a history of being extremely diverse. We had at least 5 different nationalities living in our lands (Poles, Lithuanians, Belarusians, Ukrainians and Jews).
@@PineappleDealer37 yes Poland is extremely diverse with its diversity coming in centuries ago in a modern context it’s a monolithic country, even though people might have separate ethnic identities I’ll give you a in point In the United States, they have an African-American population population or people who definitely look different from Europeans of sub Saharan west African descent They form a cultural and ethnic group by their appearance and maybe buy some speech and cultural patterns, but for the most part, they’ve been here for hundreds of years and the gel very well with Americans of all groups with most of them if not all of them speaking English This compares very well with Polish people who might be of Tatar descent
@@michaelchen8643 actually the USA is formed 100% out of a single ethnic group, that group being called "Idiots"
I wonder if polish will like it if emeraties say the same thing about them and thier naked womens in dubai
POLAND NEED MORE RELAXED LAWS, MORE ACCESS...as its have Russia from one side and Woke Europe in other side.
The reason Poland has few gun owners is that it only liberalised it's gun laws in the last 15 years or so.
Jersey and Cali got an A+? Nigga, those are F's.
Almost no guns = almost no crime. Simple as that. Gun laws influence this indirectly - by making people own less guns. No wonder gun laws in US doesn't matter - you have millions of guns already. You need to take them from people to reduce the crime rates - like Australia did.
I don't think this guy knows what he's talking about talking about in New Jersey you need to have references from people outside your family and this and that like no this is America if you're over 21 and have a clean criminal record you go buy that gun some states might have like a 10-day waiting period but you go buy that gun you get that gun you don't need references... maybe references to get a CCW.. but I don't know that pass so I can't really speak on it but the two people I do know they got it never said nothing about references
Biznes mænædzmænt 😂
NJ gun laws are ASS. In America young kids illegally obtain glocks with switches(makes your gun automatic) and can run rampant in major cities. I honestly dont have any personal experience in NJ but why limit the capacity of a law abiding citizen if 1. criminals will obtain any capacity magazine including drum mags. 2. Arent actually being held accountable or arrested by cops.
Hello Everyone, I REALLY need some help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am JUST passing through Poland on my way to Ukraine on Train and I have 2 Fire Arms.....Do I need any sort of permit as I am just Passing through. I have a Muzzle Loading .50 Caliber Rifle (Name is Called Wolf V2 .50 Cal) and a .44 Cal 1851 Navy Sherriff....I know the Documents I need for these firearms BUT do I need any sort of Permits to JUST Pass through? Im just in Poland for 3 Days before I board my Train.....Thank you so much in advance for your help. I land in Poland on May 2nd 2024
Hello. I not know the answers to these questions. I would contact customs and search on their website.
you will be arested, prosecuted and you will spend many years in jail
bullshit, if someone brakes into house you will not be charged if you killed him in self defence
So they have about as much gun rights as California
08:35 That's not true. It all depends. You probably will be arrested, you will be questioned on the Police Office, probably charged, BUT you will not be punished and will not lose your gun license and freedom, if the court will decide that you acted in self-defense. Self Defense in Poland is a situation, when you defend yours or someone else's health and life. If you defend yourself or someone else's health and life, and the response to the threat was adequate and not exaggerated, you will not be guilty. Moreover, any exceeding of the limits of self-defense will not be punished if someone defended himself in a house or apartment, unless the exceeding was absolutely gross. So, for example, if you kill a burglar in your home at night, you will not be punished and the charges will be withdrawn. If you kill an aggressive drunk on the street who pushed you but did not pose a direct threat to your life or health, you will probably be punished. That's an old myth, that you cannot defend yourself, as it is with gun rights. Most of the people who didn't get gun license think, that it is very hard. It WAS, but the law changed many years ago. It is similar situation in the case of right to self defense. Greetings. And sorry for my English.
You CAN carry a LOADED blackpowder gun ANYWHERE in Poland ! Lukas sie nie zna !
There was one question of mine that was not answered. So it takes 6 months to be approved for gun license, but is there any limit to the platform you can buy at that point? For example, at that point, could someone go straight out and buy that AR15 in the video at that point, or is it a separate class of heavily restricted weapon like in most European countries?
In short: In practice, for ordinary, normal citizens, there are two types of gun permits: collector's and sporting. For a collector's permit, depending on the voivodeship (Poland is divided into 16 voivodeships, a bit like the USA is divided into 50 states), you will get 10-15, and for a sports permit you will get 4-8 so-called promises, i.e. specific, individual permits for the purchase of one weapon arts. So if you have 5 promises, you can buy 5 pieces of any weapon that your type of permit allows. If you want more, you have to ask for more promises. For sports, they almost never give more than 8, and never less than 4. Sometimes you can even get over 20 for collectors' items. And now specific types of weapons: For a sports permit: Any repeating or semi-automatic firearm, full auto prohibited, maximum caliber 12mm. That is, any normal weapon, except large-caliber sniper rifles. So you can buy an AR15, but one with semi-automatic fire, without the possibility of switching to full-auto fire. For a collector's permit: Any repeating or semi-automatic firearm, full auto prohibited, maximum caliber 20mm. In addition, flash, alarm and pneumatic weapons are not available without permits (most are). The main differences between these permits: A sports permit obliges you to take part in shooting "competitions" at least once a year, and allows you to carry a loaded weapon with a cartridge in the chamber, but should be as concealed as possible. It requires being a member of any shooting sports club, usually the annual membership fee for the club is several to several dozen dollars. Allows you to have several weapons. A collector's permit does not oblige you to anything other than being a member of a collector's club, where the annual fee is usually a symbolic few dollars. You don't have to take part in any competitions. You cannot carry a loaded weapon (the magazine, if full, must be outside the weapon, the chamber empty). You can have 10+ weapons, including the largest caliber. I hope I helped. PS. Unfortunately, in terms of defense, bullshit was said in this film. YOU CAN LEGALLY KILL IN DEFENSE. And there is no penalty for it, as long as someone defended life, health or property, and the reaction was not exaggerated. However, there is an automatic trial to check if you didn't broke the law. So in general, you can kill in defense of life, health, property. Regards
@@ThomasJ.StonewallJackson Wow sir, I must say that I am impressed with your willingness to provide so much detail. Thank you very much.
We are not only safe for us Christians, we are also safe for Muslims as long as we are treated with respect and we are treated with respect. We are different in our mentality, we are proud to be Polish and Christian. But we are also proud to be human beings, we have been treated badly and have learned from history, not everyone gets our hand and we are suspicious. also understandable after 3 divisions of the country. Personally, I have nothing against Muslims, but I do have something against people who want to change our culture. As long as you are peaceful and behave normally in our land, everyone is welcome. This doesn't just apply to Muslims, but to everyone who believes they are better than us in our country or who thinks our laws don't apply to them. but if you do, you are a guest with us. The same for the Ukrainians, don't step out of character otherwise you'll have to go home very quickly. We haven't forgotten what you did to us, we just rise above it and welcome you. This is not a weakness but a strength, but what your Selenskyj is currently doing means that we no longer welcome you. There is nothing for free and if you think you are heroes in our country, that is wrong, you are tolerated and we will help you. that can change quickly!
excellent video answered all my questions :)
My husband and I are seriously thinking of moving to Poland - BECAUSE of the gun laws! America is terrifying right now. You can't go to the grocery store, Dollar General, there is no where you are safe from wackos with guns. We were in Europe this summer and there was a whole category of tension headaches and anxiety that I just didn't feel. My husband went to Poland for work for a week and loved it. America is not safe.
🤣 and here I live in a red state where everyone owns guns and I feel safe because all the gun owners are law abiding citizens who scare off the real criminals. Who would want to rob a store when everyone in it is going to have a gun? A deterrent. That's what gun rights are.

Kilka tygodni temu zostałem zaatakowy w domu. Obudziłem się z nożem przy mojej szyji. Okradziony z elektroniki i pieniędzy.
Strzelaj w nogi? To zły pomysł. Wzywasz policję i wykonujesz dokładnie wszystkie polecenia.
@David I don't agree with what you said. That if I kill an attacker who enters my home armed with a knife, club or gun, I will be tried as a murderer? What is Necessary Defense? Necessary defense consists in repelling a direct and unlawful attack against any good protected by law (Article 25 § 1 of the Penal Code). A person who acts within this defense is not committing a crime.

My heartfelt du’as and wishes are and will continue to be for the spread of Al-Islam to continue to grow in Poland and throughout Europe and the rest of the globe. I humbly close by saying, “Ramadan Kareem!” to one and all in Poland and the rest of the world. Amin! Wa salaam, Imam Al-Hajj Hakim Abdul-Ali.
Hakim- if Islam was to grow in Poland, women would not be safe, etc. Good for you Poland for taking that stand.
You think you are superior. This is the face of Islam. Ni tolerance in Islam EQUAL no Tolerance in Europe for you.
You probably never been to Poland isnt it? If you ever visted you would know that Poland and Eastern Europe is nothing like Western part of the continent. If our culture, religion or traditon will be violated at any point, that will create a massive conflict.
You support the abuse of children.

The Poles, Czechs, Swiss and Americans are the quartet of not being a pain in the butt to get even the most basic firearms.

ISLAM IS LANGUAGE OF TERROR , INTRUDERS WILL GET CAPTURING OR SHOUT IN CROWD
zabojcia loki,
NJ and California are horrible for trying to own a firearm.
If you look how much money they're (democratic regime in warsaw) stealing from us every second and sharing among themselfs then its not that difficult to figure it out WHY THEY DONT WANT FOR POLISH PEOPLE TO OWN WEAPONS... I guarantee you its not for safety of nation. They're scared of slave rebellion. The day they would say "open carry" for everyone it would be the last day of their power in this country. Those thiefs perfectly know that. It would be LAST day of their "order". It would be civil war imediately be cause this country and its people ARE SLAVES - they never been free. We are under occupation.
Poland is a country of slaves. "Our" goverment is robbing us every day that's why we cant own firearms. "Our" goverment would allow to own weapons to foreigners but never to us. American troops for example can walk in our land armed to the teeth but polish civilians cant. We are arrested for owning machine guns. ITS SLAVERY - PURE SLAVERY.
I'm going to work in Wroclaw, Poland. Is there any mosque?
Use your closet
No
Stay in your muslim cvountry
@@k.jagell991 dont let muslims ruin the beautiful land of poland
@@k.jagell991They are happy to be in the Christianity
It's disingenuous to act like you dont understand why people want to limit immigration. The countries migrants come from take measures to attempt to preserve their culture. Why can't european countries do the same? The reason is Islam wants to spread. It's fine. If I were a Muslim and believed in the quran and sunnah, I would want to spread it as well, but acting like this is not the desire of Islam makes it seem evil to westernes.
It isn't about spreading love.... Muslims once they get comfort/majority, they become violent and threat to non muslims.... That's why Islam is called cancer
