I saw the Bar Kays in the early 70's at the Ga Tech Coliseum, they had a large cooler sitting in front of the stage. The lead singer opened up the cooler and pulled out a big ass Boa Constrictor. That was a good Colombian weed smoking concert. PEACE ✌🏾

I've seen the BAR-KAYS live several times. Starting in 1979. I'm a huge fan. At 60 years old I can still rock with them youngsters. Being a drummer myself, hats off to that brother!!! He funky as a mutha****er!!🥁🎵🎶

I love the Bar-Kays-but they didn't play any of their real hits-and they didn't show any of the faces of the singers or any of the other band members. I remember Michael Beard(original drummer); don't recognize the new cat on drums though...2-8-23.

The band and vocals were tight. Sounds great through headphones. The drummer had to remember a lot of parts. Ain’t nothing like good old school funk!!
