This timelapse of our stone being installed recorded 1 picture every 10 seconds. I then sped up the video 4x to keep it under 6 minutes.

August Update: Garage Floor & Doors, Siding and Stone

This timelapse combines 3 weeks in August. Garage floor was poured, Garage Doors Installed, Siding and Stone were started

Lots done this week. The roof is done. The front porch is constructed. Concrete in the basement and Patio are poured. Most of the windows are in. The back deck of the master is built.

On Tuesday, July 23rd,the septic system was installed. 750 gallon 2 chamber tank with 3 - 42 foot drain field runs.

This week, the roof get finished, The front porch is built. Most of the windows are installed, the septic system went in. Also, the basement and patio cement were poured, but they do not show up in this video

Quick video showing the progress on the roof and house. Roof framing is mainly done. Shows the roof lines and the fireplace chimney.
Timelapse - Week of July 15th

Moved the camera to the front of the house. Finished framing and sheathing the roof plus the roofers started. In floor plumbing was put in the basement. All the windows and doors are framed and ready for windows next week.

This week, the crane shows up to lift all the heavy roof trusses into place (in 2-1/2 hours!). Lots of sheathing is places and the overhangs are created. Also, the patio comes to life with the walls for the wood burning fireplace. Friday, Menards delivered the roofing materials wich we hope will be done late this week. Juily 4th Week: Framing and some Roof Joists

A short 3-day week say more framing and some roof trusses. The crane arrives on Monday to install the remainder of the trusses.
Slip Sliding Away - Delivering the Roof Trusses

A bit crazy trying to deliver the roof joists. Tried to get them high up on the hill, past the driveway. Did not work out. In the end, they were dropped in the middle of the driveway. Lots of excitement, but all in all a good day.

Framing started this week. Most of the exterior walls are up. Timelapse took pictures every 15 seconds.
Backfill Foundation

This week, we back filled the walls and filled the foundation for the garage and patio. Poured the concrete pillars for the back deck and front porch. Also leveled the lot and created nice back yard. Installed silt fencing and finally, had Menards deliver the floor joists and the framing materials.
Time Lapse: Backfill the foundation and level the lot.

I mounted a time lapse camera 25 feet up a tree to get a great view of the progress. This video shows the excavator backfilling the foundation and filling the foundation. Cement pillars are added for the back deck and front porch. We also added new silt fencing for erosion control. At the very end, Menards delivers the floor joists and the framing materials.
Window Well, Drain Tile and Waterproofing

Not a lot this week, we needed to let the walls dry / harden. The walls were waterproofed, and the sump pump basin was added along with drain tile along the interior footers. We also purchased and installed the fiberglass window well for the escapement window in the basement.
Basement Walls are Done!

The wall forms are removed, and the basement walls are exposed. After they sit for a week and harden, we can then backfill ground around them and then start framing the walls and installing the floor joists.

What a horrible organist
That seems fairly fast! What percentage of the time while riding would you say you have to pedal to keep moving? Like, how much can you just coast?
Not really fast. Max speed was 15mph. Going out, it was slightly downhill. Not much peddling would be needed. Coming back, I peddled the whole way. It is very easy peddling. The motor assist is very good. Basically, you just are turning the peddles. No real effort. My wife did not peddle.

Didn’t. They replaced it under warranty.

No. They replaced the whole unit under warranty. It has a 2 year warranty.

Yes, we are in an RV, but the name of the site is “RV on 30E”. It is an RV site with full hookups.
