A Transparency Mask: allows you to control transparency through the creation of a second layer linked to whichever layer you currently have selected -which controls opacity -by mapping it to the value you put down on the second layer..(Alt Click to see the layer) Opacity can be altered by painting on the transparency mask or by adjusting the layer opacity of the image layer. Krita | How to Draw Hand(s)
มุมมอง 1.3K2 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video, I may or may not teach you how to draw hands. But no, real talk, these types of videos are usually a waste of your time. If you can draw from reference then you can draw anything, take your time, observe, and explore/think about what it is you're drawing and you'll soon be able to draw that thing without reference. Tips and tricks are nice but at some point, you need to just draw.

This video covers how to make a gif using Krita, although it assumes you already have an image sequence, it does also briefly cover how you'd go about using the Animation Timeline to paint each sequential image, as well as how to export a file if you want to use each individual layer as it's own image. 7Zip Download link: www.7-zip.org/download.html FFmpeg Download link: www.ffmpeg.org/download...

THANK YOU. Straightforward and told us exactly what we neeeed.
Great! Thank you :)
is that v1 ultrakill
Thanks, switching to OpenGL helped. I have nvidia rtx 3060. At first when I switched to OpenGL I lost pressure sensitivity so I thought it's not working. But then I also tweaked some settings in "Tablet settings". I think choosing "Windows 8+ Pointer Input (Windows Ink)" in "Tablet input API" did the trick. Now it's fast. Hopefully there will be no bugs. It wasn't bad previously but I knew my hardware should be able to render faster as clip studio paint was faster. Adding notes: If I close Krita in full screen mode and open it shows only balck screen. Using alt+tab to switch windows and then turning full screen mode on and off fixes it.
how to disselect?
thanks fo making it short and simple
I think you need more hand references
Is there a way without annoying renaming?
you will ALWAYS us reference............ stop filling your head with this limiting trash.
i will say the "dont use references" advice is only good IF it is given to someone who HAS a good amount of experience. it is designed for failure otherwise
I can’t hear
great advice : )
Thank you
Underrated
Thanks a lot!
Yeah, i knew this was a thing i just never used it. I didn't know the one button next to the layer did that so i'm bashing my head into a wall right now since i spent so much time of trying to color inside the lines. Thanks.
caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!
thank you for this video!
great vid should do some more vid explaining how to use the engine over all
Bro's life saver, thanks mate
You might try this instead: Filter > Colors > Color to Alpha
And in the process, you aliased the crap out of the lineart. 😔 Great if you're going for that look, but not so much if you want to keep your lineart textured and/or unaliased. If there's an intact lineart layer, there are so many better options to go about this. Expanding the selection before filling, since you're filling a paint layer beneath the lineart layer. Changing the selection tool's threshold and/or growth so it includes all those bits in the first place. Turning on alpha lock and just painting over the existing paint layer with broad strokes. Also, save yourself a ton of work and learn to use Colorize Mask. That tool just below the gradient tool. I'm sure you know most of this by now anyway, but I'm leaving this here for others.
MUCHAS GRACIAS SALUDOS DESDE CHILEEE
this was actually extremely helpful! thanks!
You're a godsend bro, thanks so much!
tysm!!

Thanks for this video, it's very helpful. Quick question though, what's the Tablet alternative to "Alt" key
If you have a tablet without a screen the quick keys need to be assigned. I know a lot of tablets have pre-assigned keys set to factory settings so you might have an "alt", "escape" "shift" already assigned to it. You can also assign those buttons in krita to specific actions in "Settings >configure krita > keyboard shortcuts" But that wont help you if the keys your referencing need to be assigned to a keyboard equivalent. For that you'll most likely have to open up the Wacom or Huion or whatever brand of tablet software you're using to assign those. If you're on like an ipad or similar device with a screen, unfortunately I'm not sure lol.
@@ticklishwasabi Thank you

There's some good stuff in there, but I also have to nitpick a bit. "The tip is probably the least important part of the brush." That hasn't been my experience. For example, a speckled brush tip will create a significantly different brush stroke than a rectangular brush tip. I'm annoyed that you don't discuss the differences between brush engines or why you might choose one over another. The final result doesn't really match up to the scratchy feel of the reference image. I made a brush I thought came a bit closer to the reference image with the pixel engine by using the brush tip "chisel streaks" with the sharpness setting enabled and a texture applied to the brush.
for someone who dont know in display settings. its depends what gpu you have for example i have rx 5600 xt and if im correct it supports are openGL 4.6 and directX 12 so 11 can work worse than openGL. so even if you have for example gtx 550 then directX 11 can work better. its just matter of your gpu and changing to openGL helped me so thanks
Thank you so much!
Wish i knew sooner would have saved me a lot of time
Thank you for the clear instruction without irritating music, robotic voice and unnecessary verbiage. Much appreciated. Liked and subscribed!
thank you, changing to Open GL fixed made it so much better for me.
i didn't know this was a Parasyte Hand tutorial
i came in wanting to figure out how to do a clipping mask and i came out with that and more! Thank you i needed this so much!
For those of you with the same problem as me, where it takes a few seconds for any line to start being drawn when you intially put your pen to your tablet but then works fine as long as you don't lift it again, the solution for me was to do the following: 1. Go to Settings > Configure Krita 2. Go to "Tablet Settings" 3. Change table input mode to "Windows 8+ pointer input" 4. Restart Krita
AHHHHH THANKKSSSS BROOOO YOU SAVED ME ASHDGHWESFGEW
