    Would be nice if they add something like the ergatta software to this smartrow, then i will definately buy this smartrow. I makes people enjoy the rowing machine more and are able to track your progress

    The total force curve at 1:00 is total rubbish. The individual force curves do not add up. 😂

    Hell yes! I just switched from cycling to rowing about seven months ago. Is this power meter yet available and can I adapt it to use with my concept to machine?

      For now, we only have the powermeter available for the WaterRower. We are working on a powermeter for multiple other rowing machines. If you want more information, please contact info@smartrow.fit.

    We used to deliberately make two hills, like boobies teeheehee. Infuriated coach.

    My force curve makes .. two hills. I just invented an other potential rowing mistake.

  • @henners1k92
    @henners1k92 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is helpful, and mirrors what I was told at school. The power curve should indeed resemble a female breast - steep rise at the front end, then peaking and falling slightly less sharply at the back end. An asymmetric hill, in other words.

    Please let us weaklings scale the max force curve too 500 or a personal value... Even better, make it auto scale based on the maximum detected in a workout. 1000 is too much for beginners, 1500 is for athletes only . Also, i can do a 88cm stroke max, so the max length of 120 is also not really helpful for my curve scaling.

    Nice video! I would guess that the values in the chart do not represent what I see in the video. When I do take my time to do long, powerful and proper strokes, I rarely go above 18/20 spm.

    So "exploding at the catch" is the same as the "arm pull"?

    • @SmartRow
      @SmartRow 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Merlins Robe, "exploding at the catch" refers to a shape of your force curve where it peaks really quickly (at the catch) and then gradually (almost linearly even) declines. The "arm pull" is the most common error to create this curve but in theory, other mistakes could create a similar curve. Hope this clears things up. Happy rowing!

    Das geht beim iPad mittlerweile schon einfacher über den 3-Punkte Button im oberen Rand. Leider gibts es von Apple aus immer noch keine Möglichkeit die Watch mit dem iPad zu nutzen. Und noch ein Tool zu kaufen, bin ich nicht bereit.

    Somewhat useless if it can't also be used with other apps for more competitions and large public indoor rowing events. Smart Row should be Water Rower's true monitor substitute/upgrade. The way it is now would be like an Apple phone not allowing its owner to use Spotify. I should be (and thankfully am) able to use the Apple hardware to connect to various apps, including Apple apps. Smart company, smart phone.

  • @Ayram9

    Is SmartRow compatible with Kinomap or Holofit? I don't want to use the S4 (inaccurate and detail-lacking) monitor of the WaterRower with those other apps if competing. Thanks!

    • @SmartRow
      @SmartRow 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Currently, SmartRow is only compatible to Holofit. But we are working on the possibility to connect to other apps like Zwift, Exr, Kinomap etc. We are looking for testers. If you are interested, please let us know at info@smartrow.fit.
