The leansixsigmasource channel is devoted to content related to lean six sigma, lean manufacturing, and kaizen. I started this channel as a virtual six sigma toolbox for myself. It's a culmination of my work experience and black belt certification. When I finished by black belt certification and I wanted to test-drive my skills. I feel like if you can explain something to another person, than you really retained and understand the information. Hi Monique, I was rather impressed with your presentation and knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma, only to learn that you have changed career. I tried ti find you on Linkedin to no avail. I completed the Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with Villanova University back in 2012, and enjoyed it very much. I am certain whatever profession you are currently in, Lean and Six Sigma are tools and techniques that are applicable all the same.
@Wayne Greaves Yes, I now work in the healthcare industry. Considering what's going on in the world with the pandemic, I'm glad I did. There's still demand in this industry unlike the manufacturing industry. I read Discover Your Strengths 2.0 by Tom Rath and completed the assessment to identify my strengths that overlapped my current profession. People still found value in the content so I left the videos up. Thanks for stopping by.
Lean Six Sigma applies to all industry. It is particularly big in the healthcare industry. Are you no longer involve in Lean and Six Sigma? The Joint Commission, in its effort to reduce or eliminate errors, their work is the practice of Lean and Six Sigma. You seemed so well versed in your presentation I was really shock to learn that you were no longer practicing Lean and Six Sigma. I think you should look at opportunities for lean and Six Sigma in other industries, healthcare being one of those industries. You were so much along the way in your knowledge and skillset as it relates to Lean and Six Sigma. I have questions from my staff on Severity point . we found a lot of samples from others industry especially from automotive or internet that severity point is not change even action plan already taken. My understanding severity point should be change base on new action point of view. Any idea?

where can I find the fishbone diagram in excel 2010? pls help ASAP
How to calculate DISTANCE travelled by component when "takt time" of component and conveyor speed is given.? Speed of conveyor = 8 meter/min (Stop and Go type Conveyor) Takt Time of component = 50 seconds Distance travelled by component in Takt Time or Pitch of component = 2438.4 meter How much distance would be travelled by component in 10 minutes.. Please explain your answer also, so that i can learn the formula for similar problems

Actually with 1.3 operators needed is better to pay extra time to 1 than hiring 2. And manager would be more motivated to do kaizens to reduce the cycle time. .3 is the limit though.

There are more in-depth details I want to lean about FEMA. Quality Assurance discipline is where I am doing my study, and working towards becoming a Consultant to the Manufacturing sector of the US economy.
