Awesome...thanks
Nice job, I may hit that area up myself sometime, I never considered camping in the vicinity of Mono Lake. 👍😎
The only downside is you cannot camp close to the water
great video!, i reference the bowman lake coordinates with onX maps and it states that the coordinate is on the property owned by Southern Pacific Trans Co. are we allowed to camp on their property? thanks!
As far as I know you can camp everywhere around the lake, just stay on trails. Also there are no "private property" or "no camping" signs
Amazing spots! Stunning views!
Thank you!
12 and 13 same coordinates.
And 7 and 6 also
Yep, i make mistakes :)
Hey Thanks for the vid! Always looking for places to add to my overloading bucket list. Looks like you copied the coord from #12 (Above Owyhee lake) from #13 (Sawmill Lake). Hoping to get to Owyhee early next summer. This is great inspiration!
Yep, you are right. Coordinates for the Owyhee Campsite are 43.62676, -117.21809 I have a separate video about Owyhees trip here on my channel.
That bowman lake coordinate...I don't know when was the last time you visited there, its a private property now with a house erected on site.
You must be talking about some other Bowman Lake :)
@@MaxOverlandAdventures-777 For the other places with its given coordinate. It took me there immediately but for some reason, when I type in 39.45901, -120.62072 for the bowman lake, It brings me to a location by the lake with a property on it.
@@RandomCaliforniaAdventure It's not a property, somebody put a 10x10 tent by a camp site. like I do
thank you for posting a straight forward video of the exact trip im planning
You are welcome!
Good luck I was just there two weeks ago and it was so packed I had to camp at sawmill lake (which is harder to get to than Bowman) and listen to a mostly Asian group sing karaoke to backstreet boys till 3 am the morning of my birthday.
@@Mike-sr6gd that would be funny for about an hour then I’d be like ok nah.
7 it's out of Cali
Read the title - it doesn't say Cali only
any overland channel that doesnt state where they are /give coordinates... are lame as fuck
Дивишся такий Макса - о, треба підставку під балон замовити 😂
Beautiful. We went there 3 weeks ago...bad idea due to heat wave but still pretty nonetheless. Gonna revisit this place at a cooler time.
I was also going to come back there, but with all these fires looks like the next opportunity will be not earlier then next spring
Cool stuff. Best wishes
Glad you liked it!
I'm a guide been there 10,000 times. Great video, thanks.
I camped there two times only and both times saw a guide in Hummer, maybe that was you :)
Nice, Great job loved it.
MaxProdaction👍 Nice.
Nice, that's one of my bucket list areas to visit, definitely out of this world. Love the music good choice. 👍God Bless
Glad you liked it! Make sure there is no rain in forecast when you go there!
@@MaxOverlandAdventures-777 yes, I heard the roads can get pretty muddy.
I came upon your channel by accident looking for someone else. Nicely put together, well done. I like the music choices as well. I don't sub to very many channels but I sub to yours. So, is there a significance to the 777 on your channel just curious. @MaxOverlandAdventures-777 God Bless
Great video guys! Keep up the great work
Me and my buddies love cuddeback. We go out there multiple times a year to shoot or camp or race mini bikes.
We explored this area many yeas ago and want to return someday. We saw signs of feral horses but did not see any.
Guessing you got a new drone, learned to use it, and made very nice video. Thank you. Nice work.
This drone is not new, old good Mini 3 Pro :) glad you liked the video
Just love that whole area , Grant Lake,Gull Lake , June Lake , etc. nice camping spot you had also . Gonna have to check that one out next trip up to Sierra’s. 😎👍. For an EVEN bigger view , try going up to a place over looking Mono lake near an old Mining camp called “ Log Cabin mine “ up above the town of Lee Vining off road towards Eastern Entrance to Yosemite ….. views for over 100-150 miles or more on a clear day ….. but the snow has to be almost all melted from dirt roads to get up to that spot, usually by mid-late August or September… Thanks for sharing this one with us .
Yeah, this area is my favorite too. I know the place you are talking about- there is a nice camp spot next to the metal tube sticking from the ground. Never been there though, that was in my bucket list for this summer. It might be VERY windy up there, will have to wait till July probably
@@MaxOverlandAdventures-777 With snow that’s probably up there now I wouldn’t bet against August or September maybe . I really need to get back up in the Sierra’s this summer. 😎👍
Nicely done video! Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome!
Wonderful video. Glad I came upon your channel. Suscribed!
Thanks and welcome!
Keep safe always...13th subscribers here..i wish to have 1 also from you
You got it!
Im headed out there in two weeks for the first time. Thank you for posting gps spots too. Was it windy at your campsite?
Well, end of Match might be very windy. The good thing - you can find a camp spot next to the rocks, at least some protection. Winds are usually blowing from North. Don’t forget to bring firewood :)
Thanks for sharing! How rough is the road? Doable with a Front Wheel Drive Promaster (Off-road tires and 3” lift kit) 😊?
Not really rough, very doable. I think I never put my Jeep in 4 wheel drive in this trip. Second campsite was not a accessible from the June Lake Loop Road - smth about the overflown dam. So I had to drive further south on 395 and take Grant Lake Road exit.
Such a beautiful area. Thanks for sharing!
You are welcome! :)
Once again nice video man keep it up.
You got a sub from me hope to see more content.
Great video and awesome that you put coordinate in there.
Glad you liked it!
