Round 2 rules! 1. Produce a one minute long short film. There will be a 5 second grace period so if it’s 55 seconds or 1:05 long, that’s totally okay. 2. Total budget to produce this short will be ZERO dollars. Spend no money. Use only what you have. Shoot on whatever you want. Could be big cameras, little cameras, phones, GoPros, or anything else that will produce a final video. Edit the same ...

Highball Society Covid-19 short film contest entry. In an attempt to combat cabin fever during the quarantine, I asked a few friends if they would be interested in a nice little short film fest competition. The rules were simple: Due in two weeks. Could be on any medium as long as it was viewable on TH-cam. Had to reference at least one of four fake words that were created by a fake word genera...

From Where We Stand Episode 4: Newark, DE
From Where We Stand Episode 3: Reading, PA

Our third installment of the 4-part web series From Where We Stand takes us to the trails of beautiful Mount Penn, flanking the east side of Reading, Pennsylvania. Reading isn't especially well known for being a mountain bike destination however, times are a changin' and the community that has been developing there for decades is ready to show the world what they've been up to. Dane Clay is the...
From Where We Stand Episode 2: Oneonta, NY
มุมมอง 7K10 ปีที่แล้ว
Our second of four episodes is here and Oneonta is ready for you to feast your eyes upon it's lush forests, perfect dirt and amazing rocks. Situated just west of the Catskill mountains in central New York, Oneonta is quickly becoming a mountain biker's dream town. Five minutes from downtown sees riders in the middle of 40 miles of singletrack, and that number is growing. Two universities in tow...
From Where We Stand Episode 1: Mountain Creek Bike Park
มุมมอง 4.6K11 ปีที่แล้ว
Well, here it is! After several months of planning, production and post-production efforts, we're ready for the world to see what we have been working so hard on! Our 1st of 4 installments takes place at Mountain Creek Bike Park in beautiful Vernon, New Jersey. A legendary freeride and downhill spot, we wanted to take a slightly different approach to filming and riding there. "All-mountain" bik...
FROM WHERE WE STAND OFFICIAL TRAILER
มุมมอง 13K11 ปีที่แล้ว
For years now, we've seen and been inspired by mountain bike films and features from production companies such as Anthill Films, Red Bull Media, the Coastal Crew, Freeride Entertainment and many more. These folks have offered up some inspired filmmaking featuring world class talent and trails that belong on bucket lists everywhere. And that's what mountain bike movies are for, right? They inspi...
Trails featured RIP and Black Coffee. One extra line not on trail from Over easy down to Black Coffee.
One of my favorite trail networks…PERIOD 🔥🤘🔥
👍 Great shots. Would have liked to design and create the Special Make-Up Effects.
Great professional video! Love it!
What is this?
Damn right. Climb and descend NE style
I live in Oneonta and this looks nothing like it besides a few local businesses
Well have you rode any of the trails lol?
Kisan khrant ka chora main
This is a great video but if it's supposed to feature Newark why does it have scenes from Reading and Mt. Creek?
It was the decision of the producers to also use this episode as a wrap up/tie in for the three other ones.
hotdamn this makes me miss the northeast, an Oneonta in particular. That day of shooting and rising will forever be one of my favorite memories.
awesome video I've been seeing a lot of these mountain bikers up there lately in the pagoda I'm always riding though there on my motorcycle it's nice to get a inside look of what is going on up there
where can I find the full version to this.
Excellent series you got going here. I hope your going to continue it.
There is a great community and trails in md that you guys should highlight also. Google Patapsco 100, Montgomery County epic. The ptap 100 race and the moco epic ride occur on some of the best riding in the Baltimore/dc region. There is also the Frederick watershed, and otherparts of ptap like avalan which also have great riding. MORE is the local mtb association responsible for keeping us riding in all of the state and county trails. There are also good groups in Facebook which represent the community around here really well (Maryland mountain bikers, and Patapsco Mountain bikers)
Hey Guys! The trail head we used for this was the Middle Run parking lot off of Possum Hollow Rd in Newark, DE. Just get on the trails and get lost...you'll find your way back with a big grin on your face! The trails are well marked with several map kiosks throughout
I agree with Victor Victor and I are in a MTB group throup MeetUp.com and always looking for new trails to hit. Please provide Trail head infomation please. Thanks guys Ride On
I love these vids but I wonder if you guys could take a more informative approach showing us where these awesome trails are no a map or something. I live in MD and would love to go to DE to ride.
Cool video- just thinking as I watch it that this doesn't truly represent what I see as East Cost riding, these guys are bombing down the trails, "shredding it up dude" on full suspension rigs and pushing?!!! the bikes back up, this is the same crap we see coming outta of the West Coast just with an East Coast background- boring, would be nice to showcase the true beauty of the East Coast riding- the long slow climbs, nice technical rock gardens, super tight single track, the flow, the dense lush forests....show guys cleaning the downhills at realistic speeds- as well as respecting the climbs, lets see some riders enjoying the flow and respecting the ride. shredding at stupid speeds over the same obstacles- over and over and over.... doesn't represent how 95% of us ride here in the real world on my beloved East Coast trails.I really do appreciate the effort it takes to make these videos- I do, and the campfire talk at the beginning is great- would be cool to see a video that reflected the same feeling those guys are talking about....just sayin'
I rode some of these trails when I was visiting my Mom last fall. Wish I had a guide, as some of the drops were a surprise, so I had to pass. Cool place. Great video, Tim.
Looks like it's going to be great. I can't wait to get it...
couldn't agree more.....a lot of very nice trails here in the tri-state area
Would love to see (1) ladies! and (2) some shots from the Pine Barrens. JORBA's done an amazing job building and maintaining trails in Wharton State Forest. I know South Jersey isn't known for its topography, but the trails (and the areas they travel through) are really fantastic and would make for some beautiful shots.
This is awesome and I can't wait to see the whole thing! Got to ask however… where are the women?!
We invited several but didn't have any luck getting them there. I have a few in mind for next year's project so stay tuned!
Awesome work Tim! I love the artsy shots from Oneonta (is it bad I know the place so well that I know they're from there?), Paul's spine line, and the bits with Jeff and George at MCBP. STOKED to see the whole thing!
Very nice! ...can't wait to see it.
Love the shot at 2:31!!!!
That's one of my favorites as well. SO fast.
Super high quality, awesome guys!!
