Thank you for your honest assessment of the La Nuit de L'Homme. For some reason possibly because I had all that I thought I wanted or needed, I didn't try it out until a couple of years ago, some 13 years after its launch. Despite it being highly recommended by some of the channels I love best on this platform namely @jusderose and @eauderica I wasn't blown away by it and couldn't work out why until I heard what you had to say. Indeed it is that there are other scents one could reach for today that places La Nuit de L'Homme into perspective. I'm sure it is still an excellent scent, just no longer the only one out there.

Does the water bottle pocket get filled with water when under substantial rain? If so, does it end up sipping into inside compartments? I commute by bike rain or shine and that’s my main concern with this EDC backpack. Other manufacturers make a hole or simply use non-waterproof stretchy material…

This is one of the BEST fragrance houses EVER. They use high quality ingredients, smell amazing, and last very long. 50% oil concentration! You won’t find that percentage of oil from any other indie, designer, or niche house.

Might need to try Mirto. I am wearing mandorlo today. Lasted very well all day. I sprayed a good amount (6-7sp) including on my shirt. Doesn’t project much, but quite enough to feel like you smell nice. Mandorlo works well for guys that are well built because it’s a relatively sweet frag, so you’re going to need to balance for that.

It's perfectly alright as an informal cologne. Very refreshing in the Summer.

Colonia Intensa is a wonderfully balanced extremly subtle, non-offensive versatile fresh fregrance. I very often get coplimented when wearing it. Unfortunatly it feels like they changed something about it some three or so years ago. The first bottles I owned were actually more "intensa" and also a bit more long lasting. It dissipates very fast unfourtunately. Still my no.1 favourite.

Looks like you only reviewed the original Terre d'hermes EDT, check out their Eau Intense Vetiver flanker. Very nice vetiver that's more similar to Roja's and Creed's vetivers.

Based on your review, this fragrance seems to give the same vibe as MANCERA Cedrat Boise. Correct me if im wrong.

What an obsession with not wanting to smell like “old man”. In my country the best smelling ones are the old men, precisely because they curated their fragrance wardrobe. The worst smelling ones are the younger generations, that smell to synthetic crap

on clothes even to my skin, the longevity of this is scent is outstanding. the fact that its only a cologne.

To me, the original smells like nothing but grapefruit. The extreme version smells like an old wooden dresser cabinet that's been sitting in an attic for fifty years.

How many sprays should i use?

A cheaper Amouage Jubilation XXV is a much better comparison than Spicebomb or Bentley for Men Intense.

The first time I smelt this one, it really reminded me of Terre d'Hermes, but spicier and drier, less gentle than TdH.

I own this watch. I wish it were smaller, thinner and had 24 hour numbers on it rather than minutes. The bigger and thicker a watch is, the more you bang it on stuff out in the field. The band is a little thick and clunky.

Nice review! I have this watch and I switched out the strap right away. I don’t like the skeleton hour and minutes hands. Besides that, this is a great everyday watch
