Why do car editors constantly test vehicles for scenarios that never will happen. Just drive them for 200000 miles to find faults.

Is it good or water damaged after?

I can assure you that I my 2024 Outback Wilderness got stuck out in a muddy field super quickly after a fresh rain, so be careful. Mud is weird. Not all mud is the same.
Oh yea true you never can trust the mud I personally saw bunch different off-road rigs get stuck in small puddles of mud at first seems so easy but it just sucks you in lol

If there are real sharp rocks and gravel bettter use Michelin Lattitude Cross AT Tires as the rubber mix comes from the open pit mining tire branch of Michelin.
I use this tiers because I’m showing how stock wilderness can go off-road, it’s not the best tires for off-road but it’s great tiers to do it all also I like how quiet they are
The Tire carcasse of real Winter-Tires is too Stiff for uneven Offroad incl. gravelroad incl. snow track on Gravel roads and icy Gravel roads. Winter tires therefore Show weak Traction on Gravel Underground and uneven Underground. You need All-Terrain/AT tires with the 3-Peak-Mountains-Snowflake/3PMS-Symbol, e.g. Yokohama Geolandar AT G015. Here in Europe AT Tires with M+S only won't be Sold soon.
I chose this winter tiers because I mostly drive in mixed conditions 30% slush, 30% snow, 20% ice, 20% dry 😅 I appreciate the information! Thanks for the feedback

I think 245 tires are to big with very little wheel gap clearance. I put on 235's Falken Wildpeaks and they wrok great plus maybe a half inch extra height.

Be careful with those tires. They’re very fragile. I punctured mine on a tiny rock while backing out of my paved driveway.
Yes the side wall is not strong but it’s okay I didn’t had much pressure for it to puncture I find out that for this size 20 psi is perfect for rocks and 15psi for sand. I also try to be more careful because of that, thanks for letting me know I appreciate it and hope you like the video !)

Oh yes I run everything stock, I try to be more efficient and only upgrade if something brakes or gets used up 😅

I also let the original sound to be louder in this video then all others so there’s a bit more real sound of engine and wheels spinning, maybe it’s because of that

@@Vlad_tyy Just a road trip today but plan to do off road stuff next month. I like the car so far, very linear feel and a great multi tool for an outdoor enthusiast. Do you have aftermarket skid plates on yours? That may be my next step.
That’s awesome I hope you have nice trip! Not yet I’m also right now doing some research for skid plates I want to have full protection because I go off-road quite a bit and want to try more challenges haha
Check out the Primitive Racing package for 760$ US dollars 👍 All three plates, built better than most companies.
I was looking at that one it’s was in one of my favourite the way it’s looks it nice! Thanks for the information I think I will try to get them in couple months to prepare for more difficult trails

No I just looked it up online and took sine screenshots and downloaded offline google maps just to be safe because there is no service there

Nice video, I just saw your subscriber count and can't believe it's not higher! This is some quality footage and production. I will say though sometimes it can be nice to hear the nature, but the soundtracks are nice too...Idk how to balance it, maybe at times decrease the music lvl and increase the sound of video footage? Just something I thought I'd mention I like the soundtrack but sometimes I'd like to hear the nature more. But great videos keep em up!!

My Highlander does that to, if needed. I tend to avoid big water holes. .
That’s very nice they are capable vehicles you might need a little lift for this water crossing because there quite big rocks that you can’t see but I think I heard something like little scape but I couldn’t find anything underneath when I checked, it’s good to have bigger clearance and full skid plates for this trail

Like a real Subaru commercial Vlad. You should take chains or any other traction device, they work on grass or most surfaces, not just for winter.

Wanted to ask, how deep do you think you got on your water crossings? Did you get any water coming in the doors at all? About to take a huge road trip with my 24 (lifted) wilderness and have a few deepish water crossings.
No leaks anywhere Subaru did great job! I believe it’s safe to go up to Subaru logo but be careful because watch out not going to quickly because even shallow water crossing could give you big trouble if water goes in above the Subaru logo, there’s a air intake right under the hood and you don’t want any water there that’s basically the only thing to watch out for

That would be a scary sideways slide down the hill.
No way back up without recovery vehicle if I slide down and the main concern was the rain, it made the grass incredibly slippery. As the downpour intensified, my worry grew.
