80s to early 2000s was the golden age of humanity, everything beyond that may be impressive but will never compare due to how much of the work technology does these days but back in the day it was almost all human effort and the personalities were so much more enjoyable, with personal info about characters typically having ACTUAL diversity, and not merely different appearances and sexual preferences

The most impressive speech in the entire series

So many memories, so many adventures, its all there woven into the music. A note hits and you can see Carter's smile, O'neill's feighned seriousness, Jacksons anxious grasping and Teal'c stoic but caring glance. They all share a moment of playful banter with Hammond before stepping through the gate once again and you know that whatever happens they have each other's back

It's funny how they write off using the sarcophagus to bring back our dead because it messes with your head after a while, but O'Neill was brought back a bunch of times without any side effects. We could still have Dr. Fraiser!
