Oh wow, might have to have another look! Hope the food there has gotten better! How are your travels going?

We have 3holidays booked for this year. Hurghada in april, corfu in oct and a canary cruise in Dec. First cruise so excited about that.

Very good - one of the best hotels on the island! The view as you walked in was absolutely incredible. The food is not the most diverse. But if you like chicken and fish you’ll be fine. The BBQ at the small island for lunch is Better than the buffet in our opinion. The beach restaurant did the best steak - definitely try and book that restaurant when you arrive (included in the all inclusive price). Staff were excellent. Only downside was the beach was not natural soft sand, and the sea was not as clear as we thought it would be. Coffees/drinks were as good as any other 4/5* we’ve stayed at. But the view was truly breathtaking. We toured the whole island land and sea. There are many places to visit. This hotel is north of the island and takes just over an hour to drive north to south, so can easily explore the whole island in one holiday.

Hope you have a great time! At the weekend they have a little steam train that goes round the island! We were hoping to get on it but was closed when we went. Wasn’t too expensive at all, so an idea for something to do! ❤️

We didn’t see the rooms with extra beds but they are generally small accross the resort. The resort is very old and not up to date. But as far as 3* hotels go, it’s very good! But there’s no safe in the rooms, they have them In reception and they don’t provide towels for the beach/pools so remember to bring your own or you’ll have to buy one there. But otherwise the beach is really nice as are the pools and the staff are excellent! Hope you have a great time!

It was about 21/22oC when we was there but the wind was very cold! I think we went on a bad week as the sea and pools were freezing, you couldn’t go in. But May is not the height of summer for them. They said normally it’s quite warm.

@@escapestravels-jcadventure7984 aww no worries. It was amazing loved every minute of it. Our brakes over heated going down the Alps. Our engine overheated going up the Alps. Our bed fell outta the roof onto the steering wheel in the middle of the night in Austria. The weather was amazing. The grand prix was unbelievable. Doing the lakes and Wales in july for a couple of weeks

Our room was ok, but we did move from our initial allocated room though. The food started off rough, but did get better throughout the week, but there wasn’t much choice! You’d get one fish, a couple chicken dishes then the same meat patties/rolls at every meal time. They had a massive salad bar area. If you’re going with a child, I’d recommend going to vogue hotel instead! It’s in the same area (Bodrum) but that hotel is much better for children (and adults) it has fairground rides and water slides for both young and older (all included) food was very good with a lot of options. Up at the water park area it had milkshake counter, burger counter etc. rooms were basic, but was so much to do on site didn’t really matter.

We bought an all inclusive package deal from the UK including fights, so not sure what the hotel is as a night rate, sorry.

That’s great! Hope you have the best time! Couldn’t fault the food, that hotel had one of the best breakfast selections we’ve experienced. We went for 10 days and never got bored of the food.

We booked as a dual destination (first Dubai, then Maldives) with a travel agent. Many travel agents in the UK go to this resort now. I’m not sure about travel agents in other countries though.

Hi, yes it is. It has all kinds of different Maldivian treats for you to try.

They have a couple different over water bungalows, only difference is size and placement. The lagoon villas are meant to be the smaller (but there’s not much difference) and the reef villa are on the sun set side of the island.

Do you know if the under water view looks great too if staying at the 2-bedroom villas?

Hi, thanks for watching our video! We stayed in the lagoon villa with pool and slide. We were on alcantara bridge. We stayed back in January this year, and that was the bridge that had the most ocean life then. Doesn’t matter what villa you stay in, the ocean is incredible the moment you step (or slide) into it, you’ll never be disappointed.

It was amazing! Definitely one to do if in Dubai! We spent a lot longer up there than we thought we would as it was just incredible, especially watching the sunset from up there!

Ours were free with the dates we chose, but normally they’re between £7-15 per person depending on what park you choose to stay at.

They were good! They weren’t watered down or anything. In the main restaurants you can’t get any cocktails, they only seemed to have a choice of wine or soft drinks, but the bars did good cocktails! Their alcohol serving sizes were good, but if you wanted more you only have to say and they would add extra no problems at all. They did really nice mocktails as well.

Hi, thanks for watching our video! There’s no covid restrictions at the hotel, it’s all serve yourself at all the buffets on either side of the hotel. The family side is more lively than the adult side (luxury). The adult side has two pools, one was the noisy pool with all the games and party etc, the other end is the ‘quiet’ pool which is nice and relaxing. If you stay on the luxury side you have access to everywhere inc all restaurants on both sides of the hotel. If you stay on the family side you only have access to that side and limited a la carte restaurants. We had a great time there!

Hi, sorry I don’t know what the cost per day is as we got a package deal that included a 3 day stay in Dubai as well.

I suggest you to order it via Emirates holidays. The package you get can save you hundreds/thousands. For example on Expedia only hotel for 6 nights was around £5000 , but Emirates package was £3800 including flights!

It depends where abouts you are on the bridge. The further out the deeper the water. We were quite far out near the end of the bridge and I was no where near touching the bottom (am 5.7”).

As part of our all inclusive deal with Tui, all food and drinks were included. We were allowed one Al la Carte per week, if we wanted to go to another Al la Carte it was €10 per person extra.

I can only speak for the adults only side as we didn’t venture to the family side that often. There didn’t seem to be set days and times for things like that. But we did see one foam party, it seemed to depend how many people were at the noisy pool and what games they played. On the adult side, there are two pools opposite end to each other, one ‘noisy’ that had all the entertainment like aqua aerobics, adult games, parties etc, it had no schedule. The other end was the ‘quiet pool.

Those sun beds are what their sun beds are, they’re all like that and are free! One of the best things about the resort! There was only a couple parts that were not free (on the decking the special cabanas). The beach was sandy for the most part, a little pebbly in places near the sea and into the sea, but the sea was so cold in May we only went in once. Wasn’t enough to cause an issue as just walking round the island via the beach was sandy to walk on. We didn’t go on the jet skis here. Hope you have a great time there if you decide to go! Will the swimming pool/slides be open in 1st October

Should be, we never noticed anything to say the slides were only open at certain times of the year. The pools are open year round.

Hi, thank you for your message. We saw a couple jellyfish later in the day, around 5pm onwards, not in the morning or early afternoon, but we were never hurt by them when we was in the sea. But the sea is freezing cold! It never got warm at any time. There was lots of children there and never heard any jelly fish complaints.

Theese jellyfish are very issue!! It's so dangerous!! Take care of yourself!!!
