I would like to show you one of healthy and yummy food here. It is savory yellow pen cake that eat with a lot vegetables. It is called “Banh Chao” in khmer.
This restaurant is very popular with local near Botumvatey Park. They sell different kinds of foods: The yellow pen cake. the fish cake wrap banana leave. Snail, meatball, papaya salad . Spring roll. Coconut rice milk cake and so on.
Very yummy and crowded. The dish range from 8,000 riels (2 dollars) to 10000 riels (2.50 dollars).
They also sell some drinks, too. Including popular sugar cane juice . And energy drinks.
Banh Chao, also known as Cambodian pancake, is a popular snack in Cambodia. It is made from rice flour, coconut milk, ,turmeric. And egg. The pancake is filled with fried minced pork, carrots, onions, and shrimp. then topped with bean sprouts. It is a healthy snack that is often wrapped in lettuce, betel leaves, and other herbs. It is typically served with a dipping sauce made from sweet fish sauce and crushed peanuts. Banh Chao is often served during gatherings, and it is typically eaten by wrapping the pancake around the fillings.
If you are a meat lover like me . Or you don’t wanna wrap. You can just put all in a bowl. Then add the sauce with the chopstick. There is no rule in eating as long as you enjoy the food.

1 whole pen cake may cost between 1.50 dollar to 2 dollars. But you will be so full.
