Is the Most Expensive Surf Trip in the Maldives Worth It?
🌊🏄♂️ I Took the Most Expensive Surf Trip in the Maldives - Was It Worth It? 🌴💸
Join me on an incredible journey as I explore whether spending big on a luxury surf trip to the Maldives is truly worth it. With overcrowded line-ups becoming the norm at popular surf spots like Bali, Australia, and California, I decided to escape the chaos. Instead, I experienced the serene beauty and perfect waves of the Maldives, staying at the luxurious COMO Maalifushi resort in Thaa Atoll.
In this video, we'll navigate through:
An overview of the Maldives and its unique atoll formations.
The experience of traveling to Thaa Atoll and the journey by seaplane.
A deep dive into our stay at COMO Maalifushi, a 5-star private island resort.
The thrill of surfing with Tropic Surf, from spectacular spots like Chambers to secret uninhabited island breaks.
Discover why the Maldives is one of the world's premier surfing destinations, uncover tips on navigating local customs, and learn about budget-friendly options that allow more surfers to access these amazing waves without breaking the bank.
Should luxury exclusivity define our access to waves, or is there a fair way to manage the line-ups? Share your thoughts in the comments, and don't forget to like and subscribe for more global surf adventures! 🌎🏄♀️

The Least Crowded Surf Spot In Bali?
มุมมอง 2.6K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is a surf spot review video in Bali to uncover what I think is best place to surf for longboard or beginner surfers.
So STOKED for this wave!! Sick left
@@emisurfchannel2280 come visit buddy
What a great narrator .. a very open & pleasant young man, .. & it is fascinating seeing the surf culture & atmosphere I grew up with appearing in this beautiful place! And at my age .. the longboard waves looked wonderful too! :) Greetings from Australia!
Thank you for your kind message, hope one day you will visit Hainan! 😊
Can you break down the total cost? lodging, airplane , meals, boat, tips, rentals, etc. thanks
Canggu less crowded than ulu imo
一年有好浪的天数加一起不到一个月😂😂
Thank you for sharing! Best vibes from the other side of the Pacific. Cheers from Ecuador.
this is a great video & great information...much mahalo
Very good advice: Next time, I will get myself a 'surf bodyguard,' and maybe an extra one to make sure that I will catch extra waves without getting yell at.😂. I am just kidding around. I know what you're really meant. It's helping the locals little bit financially, and it's making the experiences more relaxing.
@@aaronvu6292 exactly like that buddy
Very cool video bro, nice music and your commentary done very well
There's no need to go to Bali at all if you are a beginner. You will likely have little fun, not because of the waves, but because of the crowds of competent surfers. And those surfers don't need any more people in the way. Find some less crowded destination and don't tell anyone if you find paradise.
@@paulc6498 damn! I really like your style
Blabla Blabla tell it without crying now 😂 you guys have sell Bali as a surf camp turístic so enjoy

great video!
Go to kuta beach, baby padang, or dreamland if you are a beginner uluwatu is not a wave for beginners thats why so many people get hurt and hurt others on a daily basis ! Be respectful !
@@exesbrasil yes! The spots I recommend in the videos are: baby padang, Thomas beach and jimbaran.
Great news for the community .well done !! Como captain ibbe😊
Captain of our boat? you guys babysit me too well❤
@@jackinparadise❤
Nice video good information! Very helpful! 😊 can’t wait for more content !
why didnt you stay at a resort that had waves, that you could access from the resort, without a boat?
That’s mostly at male atolls, central atoll is less crowded. Charter boats is best option if surfing is your first priority.
Please don't recommend anymore, already spots are full of people, you are stupid to make footage like this

Why are young fitness people surf on the grandpa longfboard? Do are they have some disability?
using a surf instructor when you have been surfing 10+ years is the biggest kook move of kooks moves, ridiculous
No matter how long you've been doing something, there will always be others who excel in ways you haven't yet mastered.
@@jackinparadise that statement makes no sense
@@Jeroen12345 so you think it’s a kook move to keep learning from an instructor even after 10 years of surfing?
@@jackinparadise no, its a kook move to use an instructor to push you into waves
@@Jeroen12345 I used the instructor to critique my surfing techniques, and getting more wave counts in the line up. You think all instructor are there just to push?
beginners shouldn"t be surfing Ulu"s
@@MrTonycapt 100 percent, I didn’t recommend them to
The wave isn't nearly good enough to justify that many people
Beginners stay at home.
Who isn't a beginner at first? No one wakes up one day as a John John Florence
@jackinparadise everyone of course. But easy soft beach breaks are great places for beginners to learn to surf. Not a reef break.
@@poita3915 For beginners, it's not just about what type of break is suitable, but how the wave breaks. Gentle, rolling waves that break on a reef with deep water are absolutely perfect for beginners. On the other hand, there are also those crazy, powerful beach breaks with a sandy bottom.
@@poita3915 Some reef breaks are perfect for beginners: Consistency and soft pitched waves. They are all over Costa Rica and Hawaii. I learned on Reef break near Pahoa, Hawaii.
Where'd you find this guy ? Only baby padang for beginners , otherwise very dangerous area for beginners
watch the video mate, the 3 beginner spots i suggested in this video are baby padang, thomas beach, and jimbaran. the title saying "AROUND" uluwatu
Full shitshow just follow the unwritten rules if its not your wave just drop in and add to the shitshow
Made in Uluwatu!
Baby reef is crowded with long boarders especially with Korean surf schools using long boards 😅😅😅

Stop exploiting spots for your greedy self interest. Are you even Indonesian?
Easy : don t come to Bali ; we have enough of penguins surfing here for holidays . Over tourism is a cancer….
Bali is now an island for tourist as a surf spot, surf has bécame a trend on insta so… still it’s necessary so many years until the trend pass by🥵 and you get your Isla again calm

@@johnbrowne9688 you’re welcome!
What about surfing at Dreamland or Bingin?
Dreamland is also suitable for beginners, although the waves break quite close to the shore. On the other hand, Bingin's waves are too hollow and fast for beginners, and it has only one take-off spot, making it highly competitive among surfers.
@@jackinparadise thank you 🙏
