Luxating patella is so common in Yorkies. Sometimes breeders really can’t prevent it because it’s so common. My Poppy has it. I really don’t think it’s fair that pet insurance won’t cover so called pre existing conditions. Especially if they were diagnosed as puppies. My Poppy was diagnosed as a puppy and I was so frustrated. I still am because her insurance may not cover it if she needs double knee surgery in the future. She’s 3 now and sometimes I’ll catch her limping but it doesn’t seem to bother her. She still can run when she really wants to. Poppy is a little on the lazy side. lol. Your phoebe is so cute. To be honest I didn’t care to much about your vet in this vid. Especially when she asked about you taking her to a groomer. Obviously you can’t take her till phoebe gets all her puppy shots. We only do core vaccines here. Puppy vaccines should provide enough immunity for the rest of your dogs life. So please be careful with that and heart worm and flea meds as well. I have 5 dogs and I only treat my back yard with pet safe flea and tick treatments. I don’t give any of my dogs flea and tick meds and I’ve never had a problem. Watch Dr Jones on TH-cam. Girl you done went and got everything that had all the best reviews on Amazon Lol I’ve looked up all of these same products very good products as specially yorkies. I have a yorkie male pup that I got a couple months ago. You go girl! If you can definitely get all the best stuff. It’ll make your life easier. I ended up going with the iris playpen it’s coming today. I had a bigger on when I first got him that I got from petco but that is taking up way too much space in my apartment. I hope going the cheap route doesn’t bite me in the butt. Lol I’ll let ya know how it goes. Love all your puppy items. I’ve done a lot of research on Yorkies since I got my pup so if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask.😊😊😊😊

Hi Angel and Phoebe! I just discovered this video on my feed this morning and totally enjoyed it! Like you, I am "everything Yorkie", having raised 2 Yorkies from puppies in the late 1980's and '90's. I went the adoption route with my next 4 Yorkies, and so loved them all! I currently have the last two adoptees (Brandi 12 years old, and Kaci 8 y/o, who I adopted this year from a puppy mill in Miami that was closing down...thank God!). Kaci is just about 5 lbs and looks like Phoenix as far as her coloring. I love that you enjoy buying clothes and accessories for Phoebe. Living in South Florida, I have t-shirts for my 2 girls to wear as the cooler weather approaches, along with rain coats for the summer rainy season, but both have sweaters and hooded sweatshirts for the winter months down here. They both have standing groomer appointments, so they come home with bows, bandanas and sometimes flowered necklaces. Sorry this is long, but I'm sure all Yorkie moms enjoy your content. I have also just subscribed to your channel, but I am not on Instagram. Love to Phoebe from Brandi & Kaci💕.

Please be careful with all the products you have for your fur baby. They often time do lick. Just like humans, it’s not good to put too much on your skin even if it is natural. Just be careful. But I can tell you love love your baby and you are well organized with her! I truly appreciate that! You will need doggie menstruation pads soon!

Hello lol I just watched part 1 and here for the update? How does Phoebe's initial diagnosis of LP impact pet insurance coverage? Is it still considered a preexisting condition if this follow up visit showed her to be cleared?

Did your breeder confirm information in your contract about any genetic testing of the parents ? Does anyone know if genetic testing of parents is standard practice?

Hello thanks for your videos. 3 days seem like a very short time to complete testing and receive results in enough time to inform the breeder. How are you and her now? I'm a soon to be first time dog mom, doing lots of research on yorkies.

How much does she weigh?

So cute I’m getting a yorkipoo I’m hoping she’s on the bigger side we really want a 10-13lbs puppy since we have a 80lbs black and plan to have kids in the near future. Her mom is a 10lbs yorkie and dad is a 8-9lbs toy poodle but as of right now my girl is charting to be under 6lbs 🙃 sorry about the breeder. She was half right if mom and dad don’t have a condition there’s a good chance puppies won’t have it either *BUT* puppies don’t just get their genetics from mom and dad they can get genetics from commonly 3-4 generations back sometimes even 5 generations back which is why it’s so important that breeders know their breeding stock inside and out and research the lines to make sure they’re truly producing the best puppies they can.
