Why that game wasn't stopped is beyond me. Bama players claimed there was a wind blowing down on the Bama end of the court from the hole in the roof. The players were shook, their families were shook. they cancelled the next game after Bama and State.

I was in that dome when it hit. I remember the looking up and seeing wind coming through the hole it made in the side of the building. I was only 11 so I didn’t realize how lucky we were that the game went into overtime right before this happened. Had it not, the outcome could’ve been so much worse.

I saw this tornado! After it hit Atlanta, it was in Marietta & I saw this monster about 150 feet away from me, headed straight for me! I had already put my son in the bath tub and covered him w/a mattress because I heard the warning & heard that it hit the Ga.Dome. When I saw it, I thought, "This is fecking it"! Right after I said that, it shifted direction! I swear, I was terrified. That funnel was massive. Wide & huge. I never heard what damage it did from there & never heard the size of it but it looked like any ef4 that I have seen in videos, since. I never want to be that close to a tornado again! Very ironic since I now live in Ky. & since moving here from Marietta, Ga., 14 plus yrs. ago, they have now declared that this is now a part of tornado alley! Today, a phone alert & followed by the tornado warning alarm sounding off & I took my chihuahuas & ran across the field & crawled into one of the drainage tunnels that run under hwy 60. The tornado that was 5mins. from us shifted direction. I crawled out of the drainage tunnel when the sky cleared & it was safe. I don't ever want to hear that sound or see another tornado headed straight for me. It is terrifying.

Now, THIS is a thunderstorm! As a matter of fact, this puts some of the storms we get in Chesterfield County (VA) to shame.

#Boy-fj, Unless the tornado is an EF-5, it most likely won't take down a skyscraper. Probably because of how well built they are these days. But who knows? If the conditions are right, a tornado can form just about anywhere.
