Danielle Bernstein is a native New Yorker and Fashion Blogger turned business entrepreneur. Bernstein has a dedicated fan base of over 2.6 million and counting across her platforms and started her internationally recognized blog, WeWoreWhat.com in 2010 as a daily dose of outfit inspiration for women everywhere, before growing it into an aspirational yet relatable home for all things coveted. Danielle has since launched her cult following brand, Shop WeWoreWhat. She was recognized by Forbes’ coveted “30 Under 30” list at just 24 years old in 2017 and became a New York Times best selling author for her book, This Is Not A Fashion Story that was published in May 2020. In response to the pandemic, Danielle created the philanthropic arm of her business as a way to give back using her platform, WeGaveWhat, which has since been able to raise and donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to all different organizations and causes in need.

My Soho Home Tour | Danielle Bernstein of WeWoreWhat
Welcome to my Soho loft home tour! The official publication feature came out on Arch Digest today and I couldn't be more excited to finally share our new home with you! AD link: www.architecturaldigest.com/story/inside-the-soho-home-of-influencer-danielle-bernstein
This project definitely feels like an introduction to the interior design world. A space I was able to transform and truly express my design aesthetic with. This also meant moving in with my boyfriend and making the apartment truly ours. I collaborated with a long time friend and interior designer I admire, @lpcreative to source and commission pieces from around the world and bring our vision to life. The overall inspiration was a lived in wabi-sabi, soft neutral vibe with collected vintage pieces. We played with a lot of organic textures and shapes, covering the entire apartment with limewash paint, using a ton of weathered wood, unpolished metals, and an appreciation for imperfection.
We commissioned small business artisans both local and international to make some incredibly special designs which I can’t wait to share in detail in future posts. Don't worry, there will be many (including more video content, before/after photos, and detailed descriptions of the process on my Instagram).
Hope you enjoy!
