I first heard this story narrated live listening to Radio KRAB an I ndependent station in Seattle WA in 1968. We got one chapter at a time and could hardly wait for the next evening.. Soon we were all looking for a copy of the book..

The lion the witch the wardrobe was one of my favorite books from childhood. My late father LOVED the simarilion and the Hobbit, having read them to us as children and reading them over and over through his life. I don't have the focus to dedicate to reading them so it makes me so happy being able to hear them read again

I just happened upon this channel and within 5 minutes I could not help but like and subscribe here and now. I would love to hear this man read the Joseph Conrad book of short stories called Tales of Unrest. Each story has its own kind of gravity and I immediately felt the same feeling of dread and ominous certainty that whatever they try to do,they only seem to make things worth. To be clear, I'm not making a request, I'm aware that this is not a top forty radio station. What this channel does is far more worth the time. With a channel such as this, the voice doing the reading is 90% of the equation for me. I could listen to this voice read the phone book. Thanks and CHEERS!

While I really enjoy your readings of the Hobbit, it is very frustrating to have to wait so long for the next chapter. I should have waited for all of the chapters to be read before starting.

Lovely narration but the background music is distracting.

My 7th grade world history teacher had us write a paper about the one place we would want to go to if we had a time machine that could take us anywhere at any time in history. I chose the Library at Alexandria. When we learned about it, I imagined this enormous, bustling shrine to the worship of knowledge that contained the most comprehensive collection of knowledge and wisdom that existed in all the history of mankind. Just thinking about the endless possibilities that would be discovered by studying the knowledge of our ancient ancestors. The most famous minds of the civilized world had their wisdom chronicled and cataloged in a place that celebrated the gift of learning and discovery. I remember learning how the library was destroyed and how sad it made me. I can’t imagine the loss of such a vast collection of knowledge and history.

VARUNA is the judge, jury and boon/smite is fettered to the ocean so his millions of floating eyes can find you, judge you but nothing more. (The main class 13 entity needs to be free.) Maybe when “the stars are right” VARUNA may get free to roam the Earth again and its spaces or leave us for the starry void. A kaiju-kaijin with a super-amalgamated brain is inscrutable. 47 degrees 9 minutes South, 126 degrees 43 minutes West coordinates given by Lovecraft for R'leyh. (DH, 151) With his thousand eyes, Varuna watched over human conduct, judging good and evil deeds and punishing evildoers.
