MC Escher, Images of Mathematics...
มุมมอง 293K15 ปีที่แล้ว
Escher's work covered a variety of subjects throughout his life. His early love of portraits, Roman and Italian landscapes and of nature, eventually gave way to regular division of the plane.. Over 150 colorful and recognizable works testify to Escher's ingenuity and vision. He managed to capture the notion of hyperbolic space on a fixed 2-dimensional plane as well as translating the principles...

I am Ghost Lovers Requiem Demo Recording Session
มุมมอง 7K17 ปีที่แล้ว
The weekend of May 5th was both exciting and exhausting for the staff here at HDP and members of I am Ghost. We had a daunting and ambiguous task set before us: to multi-track, overdub and mix thirteen songs in preparation for the band's first ever full length record, "Lovers' Requiem". Previously, the band had enlisted the help of numerous local studios in an effort to get the demo recorded as...

    M. C. Escher said he, "never got a passing mark in math". He was an artist pure and simple, the math of it didn't interest him, it's not what he was trying to express. Ever. Always remember - art came first. Neolithic art is the origin of all writing - including math. In the words of Marjane Satrapy (Persepolis) "The first writing of the Human Being was drawing, not writing". That's what Escher understood on a level a non-artist simply won't get. You have to know the first things to understand at all.

MC Escher was a unique genius on the planet Earth. Incomparable and discoverer. He was very unique as an artist and did not imitate any other artist. MC Escher I already found in countless books. Often as an enclosed inspiration of an article. MC Escher is immortal. He will still be remembered when we are all dead and forgotten.

It is a wonderful story that Penrose communicated with Escher about "Improbable" spaces from the first Escher prints. Escher gave Penrose some original prints of his earlier prints. Their different worlds were combined. Escher went on to make more examples of "Improbability". Escher's work may lead us to a dimension we have not found so far!

Slate audio is cutting edge - I just picked up a Raven MTi2 some virtual mics and have the everything bundle. My mixes with Slate plug ins sound much more analog (warmer and crisper) I find my self using my ears more than my eye's with his EQ plug ins. I have fabfilter EQ'S and Compressors , Limiters Eventide and Waves ect: I love his VMR and tape machine on my channel strips.

For those who are Esher fans .There is a permanent Escher Museum in the city of The Hague ( the Netherlands) Located In the old 'Paleis Voorhout ('small 'ex -royal palace ). Beside his original work, there are some rooms hallways, 3d projections/movies etc blend in, to mimic Esher's reality'. It's P.
