Orkney Christmas Tractor Run 2024
The 27th of December 2024 saw the 4th annual Christmas tractor run through Kirkwall in the Orkney Islands. With over 150 tractors joining the line up as they paraded through the city with their lights visible for miles.

The recent storms in Orkney have taken their toll throughout the county with a number of buildings being damaged and most visibly damage to a number of boats around Orkney. The two most notable examples being the old trawlers moored in Water Sound just off the beach at Burray. It will be interesting to see what happens with these two vessels and if they can be saved. Recently we were lucky enough to be visited by 2 risso dolphins who for over a week made their home along the side of one of the causeways. The snow that week was really disruptive but I loved it!
We have had another load last night, didn't get chance to put the drone up today unfortunately but I think everything looks better in the snow
