It's actually absurd that linkedin won't allow two valid accounts. I'm a RN with 1600 connections. I'm also a respected gemologist. Con you imagine a more diametrically diverse dual occupation?

LOL I have a lot of work experience from banking > education > military > public health and soon to be nursing. So yes many different job experiences (over ten) as a matter of fact.

Great Job. @LinkedIn, there should be an option just remove the banner, but leave the preferences setup, but not visible to anyone else, i.e. No Delete, so that it can be just turned back on or off again, as required. A good suggestion here, if it's the public facing that is an issue, is to set it to recruiters only.

If I typed someone's name into my Safari browser and then scrolled down the search results and clicked on their name not realizing the click was going to take me to their LinkedIn page (because I didn't notice it was a LinkedIn site result) will they know I looked them up? I was not signed into LinkedIn ...I don't think?
