He reminds me of my coonhound, who is a butterholic. If a stick of butter is within her reach, it's HERS! And she has those same, soulful eyes. It's impossible to be mad at her.

Hi! So sweet of you. He is ok. He had 2 torn ACLs. So this was his therapy last year. My boy is getting up there though :( He is 12 now & really having a hard time with his back leg weakness :( But hes doing ok for now!

It took 4 years to get my dog diagnosed because he was mostly eating veggies for snacks. Wish I saw this video earlier!
Ditch the drugs and surgery!!!. it may be a death sentence for your dog! Why will the vets NOT give anesthesia to a dog with liver shunt disease for any other surgery, such as spay or neuter?? But! they are willing to let you spend thousands of dollars to give TOXIC!! anesthesia for surgery on the liver shunt which may just kill them anyway. I am treating my puppy with whole ral food diet with very little protein until a few days go by then adding goat milk yogurt, egg yolk (no whites) and eventually some steamed chicken and white flesh fish. Main diet is sweet potato or yam with blended veggies. Fruit can be served as treats. coconut water to hydrate or spring and " smart water"... y pup is doing great. It has to also be supplemented!! with human grade supplements.

This is why people should cage their dogs when left at home alone. It is safer for the dogs. I'm not judging you in any way I just thought this was a good example of why it should be done because a dog could have gotten seriously hurt if he was stuck like that. Very cute video though!

Wow. So much like my dog has been doing. Same behavior. She’s over at the ER right now. Doctor just stated she believes it could possibly be liver shunt just like your video title. So sad. Hope your pup is better. ☹️
