Darth Vader had everything power, intelligence, ruthlessness he knew how to lead troops to battle. Last but not least he knew how to make an epic entrance as a classic villain and even his breathing was intimidating. James Earl Jones was incredible

I love the contrast between all of these menacing, badass moments and his private talk with Luke in Return of the Jedi. He threatens officers who tell him something he doesn’t want to hear, but when Luke tells him something he doesn’t want to hear - or is afraid to hear - even though he disagrees, he speaks very softly and gently to Luke. James Earl Jones does an amazing job at conveying how Luke brings out the better self within Darth Vader.

The speech Padmé gives in S3-E11 has always bugged me. Isn't it... her fault if her servants have to endure these poor conditions in the first place? Shouldn't she be the one helping them, instead of using them as a political bargaining tool?... Plus her telling the Republic to stop funding the armed forces at a time of all-out galactic civil war against an unrelenting enemy... simply does not make sense. The Clone Wars was a good show that succeeded in many aspects, but politics was not really one of them.
