Awesome video. I remember renting this game from a Mom and Pop shop, and I did not get it at all. Why couldn't I move and dodge? I returned it, and rented other games. That summer, I played every game in that store, and there were no other games I hadn't beat. I decided to try FF4 once more (that music was amazing, too). I think my opinion of this game changed during the Spoony Bard scene. I was hooked after that. And when I dropped the rat tail down the well... I don't even remember how I knew to do that.

Welcome back to menu simulator... Here I'll spend 10 minutes finding the right item for the job of beating this monster. While I understand why many people hate inventory management in games, the answer is somewhat easy: Just don't carry too much stuff! Also hate enemies that just stun the party to death, why playing with just 1 party member is impossible. Cheers~

I always thought if you used revive on a zombie they'd just become a normal person again, but game logic is partly right here because they've been dead too long the brain would be rotten so they'd just be dead dead.

Vampire sword, always fun. When the description says it sucks, it means literally not figuratively!

One thing I did not like about the old school games, was lava, poison, and ice shard floors. Regardless if you want or run over it, it damages your character(s). I'd understand if you ran over the spikes, but just walking/carefully doing it means nothing.

I know it's a video game trope, but who left all these chests scattered about in the most random places? Are they ancient bedrooms? For larger areas, why would there be a spell book in a room full of hi potions? Is that some kind of old shop or medical area? As for people that bring their potions with them, and of course disappear when they die, I doubt they'd bring a massive chest with them and it only having a single potion inside!

Tropical island... thankfully there is no water level. Not sure when water levels became a thing. There are so many final fantasy games though, by the time you get to 7 you should have 1k subs. Still got to tweek that mic, and maybe give more retro commentary.
