What fabulous three days we had with #HANBOK!
Last month, 25-27 July, we had such a captivating series of events celebrating the beauty of the Korean traditional dress 'hanbok.'
From enlightening lectures to creative hands-on workshop sessions, our participants immersed themselves in the charm and elegance of hanbok.
The stunning fashion show was the highlight of the three-day event where the participants, or our proud models, showcased a diverse array of traditional Korean dresses ranging from ceremonial attire to contemporary adaptations, seamlessly integrating elements of South African traditional attire with hanbok, as we celebrated the unique cultural fusion.
Millions of thanks to all our participants for devoting their time to gift us with these beautiful moments, and to everyone who made it to the event and shared them with us!
We are also greatly indebted to Dr. Sunyoung Park who'd guided us through this incredible journey of discovering the beauty and craftsmanship of hanbok!

I went to one of these events and i must say the experience was amazing. Us mad about Korean culture people and wanting to learn more were very happy. One thing though....the time that we could spend was too little. 2hrs is not enough. Then it wouldve been even better is there were actual Korean people explaining the culture to us. Yeah its fun to dance , play the games and eat some food. But your history is what attracts me. I saw my own fore fathers name on the memory board and wouldve like to know more. Actually speak to a native Korean person. Its maby something to think about next time. Thank you for hosting such great events and i look faward to my next visit BORAHAE 💜💜💜💜 LOVE YOURSELF SPEAK YOURSELF 💜💜💜💜 SARANGHAE 💜💜💜💜💜
