আমি 2017 সালে গিয়েছিলাম ভাইজাক অরাকুভ্যালী ।ওটাও খুব সুন্দর জায়গা । তখন ওখান থেকে চিত্রকূট যাচ্ছিলাম কিন্তু অনেকটা যাবার পর পুলিশ। রাস্তা আটকে দিল । বৃষ্টিতে রাস্তা ডুবে গেছে ।যাওয়া যাবে না ।অগ্যতা ফিরে আসতে হোলো হোটেলে ।

হারিয়ে গেছে সেই গহীন অরণ্যে ঘেরা গা ছমছম করা পরিবেশ নিয়ে সভ্য জগত থেকে বিচ্ছিন্ন হয়ে থাকা অট্টহাস । বছরে চার মাস জলে ঘেরা এক বিচ্ছিন্ন দ্বীপ ! বছরের বাকি সময় প্যান্ট গুটিয়ে এক হাঁটু জল ভেঙে কাদর ( কৌশিকী নদী ) পার হয়ে পৌঁছতে হতো অট্টহাস । সব হারিয়ে গেছে ।
