hey! No, I haven't had this issue yet. the wires do come from the back of your head unit. I would start there to make sure nothing got snipped and that your harness is not damaged. Look for the same color wires from your front speaker, and then try to do a continuity test with a multimeter. this would eliminate any cuts, tears or shorts from the harness to your front door. hope this helps

Glad it helped, and thanks for watching! Good find on those rear brakes. My PIU developed a similar sound, but it’s only loud after the car sits For a few days. I have a feeling my pass. rear rotor may be slightly warped. Will check and make video this weekend

Oh, it looks like the plastic top interlock switch holder was cracked in two places where the microwave door connects. I ordered a replacement. Hopefully, this fixes it. haha I'll keep you updated. Thanks again!

@@mrtrytofixit yeah that's the idea, I did coils and everything at the same time to avoid doing it a second time, same with fuel injectors and overhauled pretty much everything there.

So it all depends on which model console you find for your PIU. My console had a lot of connectors for rear vents/ac/etc. my vehicle doesn’t have rear connectors so I had to remove the wiring before installing. The cigarette lighter/charging ports were there so I was able to reuse those.

I was thinking the same thing. Why buy such a beautiful high-performance vehicle and put such a shitty oil filter and oil in it. I run Amsoil 0W 20 signature series in my Acura MDX.

@@SuperSnakePlissken Amsoil Signature line is not API certified because it contains more than the allow zinc and phosphorus, and can damage catalytic converters. If the dealer find out you used Amsoil Signature, and the catalytic converter throws a code under warranty, you are SOL.

@@Mark-rw3kw At over $1 million dollars a year to have that licensing I don't blame them for not having it. I wouldn't pay that gangster bullshit money either. Second, when you look at their specifications which are found on their website and compare them to the API, Amsoil far exceeds those requirements. Next, I just had my oil tested by Blackstone Labs two oil changes ago, and on that last test under Zinc the universal average for oils is 774, and my oil had 644. Also, the universal average on phosphorous is 674 and my oil had 501. So, I am not sure what bullshit forum you read on, but Amsoil looks to be the opposite of what you believe.

Thanks for watching! It’s difficult to troubleshoot based on sound and not hearing it. I would start by making sure the pump inside the machine is not banging on any other parts. They usually are hanging from rubber holders and not affixed to the body of the machine. Check to make sure the rubber bumpers/holders are intact and not broken in any way.

Thanks for watching! The amount of water to be added is usually determined by the solution instructions. The specific one I used instructed to add up to the max line. Adding less water would make the solution stronger. The rinsing afterwards would need to be longer as well to ensure the descaling solution is completely cleared out of your machine

You can't dent or puncture an oil filter by hand tightening it... like ever.

I can’t confirm nor deny that, and according to them, there were at least 5 sold to regular ford explorer owners. They did not confirm any PIU owners purchased it, so I would assume I was the first, and hopefully the last. It looks to be a great product and I really wish it would have worked. They need to have the canbus programmed properly for the PIUs but since it’s such a small market for them, I doubt it would ever happen. It’s a shame.
