We chased this sculpted supercell from Sloan Iowa to Omaha Nebraska on June 12, 2024. Storm produced very large hail and possible a tornado. My windshield was cracked on both sides but the center was spared.

Wow, what a great way to start the chase with amazing convective structure and such a huge supercell ! Many chases can start with much low level stratus muck lol.
These other storm chasers need to learn from you. About the type of music to play. Some chasers take away from their footage by the music they choose.

The tendrils of a dissipating supercell seem to closely resemble the vortices of a large tornado. It makes me wonder if there’s any correlation between the structure of a mesocyclone and that of a large tornado.

Basically when the inflow cloud gets sucked under the meso, the inflow vortex becomes the base of the tornado. There’s a simulation online TH-cam on tornadogenesis and you can see it perfectly in your footage!!! Awesome video!!!

Great drone footage Mr. McKinney. Keep gettin it! And good job at raising that kid. Freddy and connor save lives and do such a good job at chasing at such a young age. Its just cool to see the youth amount to such things still. Two kids that other kids should take notice of. 🫶🏻✌🏻🌪️⛈️
