that's super fancy! good job. might i offer a simpler solution? as a beekeeper wood chips, available from pet shops, cedar chips for hamster pens, make tons of smoke. Several handfulls of cedar chips, ignited will produce coals that will produce loads of smoke when the lid is attached to can.
Nice building job but never said what you use material to make it smoke like mineral oil?? And you never showed it smoking wow toooooooo much details on evaporation system thanks 👎
Nice job 👏
Excelent video
Tell them how important it is for the wires on the tiki wick not too touch each other...or they'll have a fire..
Mikes smoke machine???????????????????????????????????????????
Petrol
Sir this is diesel or petrol engine
Do we have to close the throttle body, before doing this test ?
The throttle body should already be in the close position since the engine is off. You could plug the line from the airbox if you also wanted to check between mass air sensor and plate.
Sir do we have to close the throttle body?
wow!
What’s that 0:33 black thing on the left with the red sticker? I have 1 at work but it has water in it
Nichrome resistance wire.
Well found sir,brilliant
Superb sir.just brilliant.
An absolutely brilliant build sir butifull.steve from the uk
Thanks
Looks like a quality build. Good job.
Are you kustomsmoke? I seen the same smoke machine set up in a scotty Kilmer video. I was about to email kustomsmoke.
what bolts did u use?
Great job. I'd add a fuse to the positive power wire, otherwise beautiful job. I'll be making my own soon. How hot does the can get?
Maybe a little less exposition on subjects that really have nothing to do with the task at hand & a lot more specifics as to the materials, the procedure, the actual numbers (I.e., Ohms needed, the length of the burn wire [and its specific type,] PSIs needed for optimal output, etc....) I found myself fast forwarding/reversing to find actual helpful info to the point of frustration- so much so I felt that I needed to make a comment regarding the issue. There's no need at all for this to be a two-part video tutorial. With that said, when on task, the presentation was good. Decently shot and narration was easy to hear and understand. 2.5* of 5*
Amazing!!!! Excellent job👍
Using 'stuff lying around' is not helpful. Not everybody has everything 'lying around'.
Forget the powered up metal can! I went with the powered up pvc plumbing container...much better and safer!
Recording videos on an airplane is an interesting thing to do. Apart from being able to remember trips that have been made, passengers can also tell friends on social media about the beauty of the trip they took.
Nice Work !
At out all I have seen, yours was the best, like your design, but thinking a fish tank air pump might be just the thing, low pressure, and constant air supply, honestly you can tell, you thought this all out, excellent tutorial
Great job Mike, Better than store bought
Me.podrias regalar los nombres de los materiales con los cuáles fabricaste la resistencia
Great job! Ima copy that lol
my fuckin allah. i couldnt watch the whole video.. that fucking dog barking... drives me nuts!
How long was the wire 25 feet ?
Excellent. Really appreciate all the thought and step by step details you put into this video. Can't wait to make one and try it. Thank you.
you need an engineering degree to make these smoke machines. i need something simple, not complicated project that need half a tool shop to make
It's not that bad, a few drill bits and wrenches. The rest you can pick up from your local hardware store. Throw the numbers into a calculator and you're set
Does the mineral oil not mess with any of the sensors?
You may have an egr leak, bad rings or burnt valve if you're getting intake smoke out of the exhaust...unless you have serious valve overlap i guess..👍
put smoke in from somewhere else, many times the brake boosters leak and you won't know if you take it out of the equation.
Be sure to remove the one way valve from the brake booster or the smoke won't be able to get into the booster.....if yoi don't, you'd still never know if the booster is leaking...lol🤣👍
nicest diy smoke machine that I've seen
Great video! Very easy to understand. Well done 👍
this is brilliant , good work. only thing i would've done different is wire in a on/off button so you can make smoke on demand as well as stop when not needed...
$10 .00 aquarium air pump no compressor no regulator .
how do you make the smoke
@@AdrenalineRushMX drip baby oil on a rag, light it with a match.
Nice created a controlled short nice job
Good job Mike and for the technology involved in cars a must have to help diagnose problems. Starting to build my own machine and hats off to you!
Than6
one day someone will try this and blow their battery to kingdom come. Hook the negative lead to a ground on the engine. I've seen 2 batteries blow up, it isn't pretty! Also speed things along. I watched your videos in 1.75 speed and still jumped ahead till you got to the point.
Well Done! Nice build and well narrated!
POOR OLD DOG
The crack in your header is the cause of the lean condition. Just watched your video 2 years after. The O2 sensor can't get a true reading of the exhaust because air is suck in thru that crack at higher RPMs.
Great video and nice work on the smoker. If you want to know the details of calculating the nichrome wire length, the link below will allow you to do that. Using it you find: Wire Length = 36" Wire gauge = 22 Temperature Produced = 762f Resistance of Wire = 1.9776 ohms Current = 6.072 amps Voltage = 12.00 volts www.easycalculation.com/engineering/electrical/nichrome-wire-calculator.php
Watched all three videos. Great job building that smoker. I built the one using the soldering iron, a little simper but not nearly as nice or as effective as yours, however I did find my exhaust leak. I think I am going to build one like yours just because it works so much better. Thanks for all the detail. Great videos.
