soul release is the only item that keep the weapon drawn out.(?)
Is this the depths or underworld? Because i remember fighting him in floor 9 of the deoths with +9 stone and his health regeneration was absolutely insane to the point i had to give up trying to defeat him with +9 stone. I mean insane insane like i attacked him on every opening and he still outhealed my damage
It was depths of the underworld (the one you unlock after beating underworld)
@@okami7802 wow thats mad impressive. I remember trying to defeat yoshitsune in floor 9 of the depths too, with lvl 9 penance stone, and i just couldn't keep up with his auto healing. I believe i was being pretty aggressive and with a relatively good build, but i just couldn't. In the end i had to resort to a confusion build with familiars and sloth on magic hit. Not like it made the depths a cakewalk by any means, i still think it's super hard even with it, i mean i was getting one shot by everything. But yeah i'll have to try again sometime without that build.
That whole sequence with the soul release into tonfa grapple was crazy

do you mind sharing your full build? like path in scroll of damned, skill build. i am using tonfa but i cant run or dash as fast as you. also your grapple 69k damage is insane. how you do that?
I am dashing/evading fast because of using evasion cancel, plus having a movement speed buff on top of that. In case of the build i use is a combo of 7pc Ame-no-Uzume & 6pc Susano, Full details in here : imgur.com/a/kBi7hcN

Better try Nioh 2 for a more polished gameplay. Or have a look at Wo Long, which is from the same makers and is not quite as punishing. All of them are certainly among the best souls-like games that aren't from From Soft. So they're definitely worth a try.

Yeah Nioh 2 made me not like Elden Ring. Nioh just flows so much better. Elden ring is maaaaad slow and repetitive.
@@lonedolo644 I've picked it up again in anticipation for wo long, never got too far in it but I'm only just realising the potential for combat. Combat here is way more fun and skillful than any other "soulslike"

Rise of the Ronin seems like what you would want. Not sure if it has monsters or not but it looks like the focus will be on humans

mmmmh human enemies in nioh 2 are.......off somehow, they don't mesh very well with yokai abilities, they're mostly combo fodder, there to test your ability to chain moves really
